I Hate It To But Don't Look At The Needle When They Take Blood And It Won't Hurt As Bad And Rub The Spot Where Blood Was Taken After They Take The Needle Out Hurts Alot Less
Wish I could help but I have a mild phobia of needles so.. I would also appreciate an answer to your questions. It's not even really the discomfort of a needle that I'm afraid of. I don't know what it is. I see one and my brain turns into a pile of mush and my eyes start watering. Not fun. .-. I'd say try looking away? It doesn't work for me but it might for you?
I look right at it. But I don't mind needles. They're fascinating. But I'd say look at it so you'll know exactly when it's going to stick you. Look at the docs hand. Concentrate on the steadiness of it. Know that he's had years of experience doing that and you can trust him. He knows what he's doing and is confident in doing it. And, if he fucks up, your parents can sue their asses. End of story.
Nothing creeps me out more than needles! Last year I had to get blood taken, and hated it. I got a physical this year, they said I need like 3 shots soon.
Then go on the defensive. Bite him. Go batshit crazy. Eventually they'll tranq you and strap you down. Then you won't even know!
That's something I'm really worried about: getting blood taken. I haven't done it yet and I'm seriously dreading the day. I can hardly let my doctor keep the needle in my arm for 10 seconds. How am I going to last for 10 minutes? How? .-.
I don't know .-. I've never had blood taken before. But I think I was thinking about donating blood.. ops?
