Yeah, hai.. I'll cut to the chase, I'm doing a small series of one shot-ish things, purely because my friends read out of my 'Big Book of Depressing Stories' as she calls it, and suggested I change the names in some of the teenage/high school-y stories roughly based on either my life or my roommates experiences and post them here. So, there might even be some gender changing, cause my roomies are all guys, so yus... Imma stop explaining now, if you decided to read this and you understood, good on you, if not, meh, I will definitely be updating this for as long as possible. Sorry in advance for the heap of swearing ._. Here you go... Savannah Every year something has to blow up for her. Year eight it was the 'cheating' year nine it was the drugs and now, year ten hasn't even started officially and it's the photos... She feels stupid, like a bad luck charm. She was sick of it all. Year eight She walks the halls of the main building, hands in the sleeves of her unnecessary jacket, hugging herself tightly. It had been a few hours after the blow up, when she had been caught 'cheating' on her only love. "Oh my god, did you hear what she did to Christopher?" "What a whore, she kissed another guy, with tongue and stuff..." "I bet she fucked that guy too... Little skank.." Savannah dug her long nails harder into her palms, begging herself not to cry, not in public.. A few hours earlier... "You know Savvy, if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here..." Leo smiled to her kindly, his hand on her knee. "I know, that's why you're my most epic friend." Savannah grinned, ruffling up his hair. "You know, if I was straight I'd be whining to my mates that I've been friend zoned." Leo laughed as he mock pouted at Savannah, making her giggle. "You're the sweetest person Leo, thank you again for helping me.." Savannah smiled fondly as she kissed him gently on the cheek. "Oh my God, Sav?!" The shrill shriek was enough to cause the color to drain out of Savannah's face. "Melanie, he was helping me with a problem, I was giving him a kiss on the cheek!" Savannah tried to stand, knowing full well that Melanie was about to go into gossip mode. "Too late, text sent, Christopher is probably gonna dump you now you emo skank." Melanie hissed with a sly smile. "But..." Savannah flopped down on the bench, head in her hands as Melanie walked away, and Christopher stormed from the basketball court towards her. "Savannah! What the fuck?!" His voice filled with venom, he stood away from her. "Christopher, honestly, it was just a kiss on the cheek man, I was helping her out with family problems..." Savannah was vaguely aware that Leo had stood up and stepped towards Chris as calmly as possible. "No one asked you fag! Savannah, you're fucking dumped! You wasted a year of my life! I can't fucking believe you! Worthless mutt..." Christopher's words made Savannah feel like she was back at her fathers, getting beaten by her step brother again. She wept in Leo's arms the rest of the morning "I heard she made out with the gay guy, can you believe it?" "Oh really? That's low, at least cheat on someone with someone less geeky, straight even!" Savannah leaned silently against the wall, trying to block out the comments about her, unsuccessfully. "You know, she probably did it so she'd have an excuse to cut and cry without people asking why, little attention seeker." "I know right!" "You know Savannah, if you were going to cheat on Christopher and make out with another guy in the arts rooms, should of chosen me." The deep voice of Nick made Savannah look up, her eyes narrowed. She looked at him as he leaned over her desk. Savannah stood, shoving the table straight into his body, causing Nick to fall with a satisfying 'oof' which lead to more whispers. "Attention seeker!" "Stop trying to make me sound like some trailer trash hussy! This has been ostracized to the point of just, UGH! It was a fucking kiss, on the fucking cheek!" Savannah finally snapped, storming out the room into the corridor, putting her fist through a window near the stairs to the second floor. It didn't hurt, it felt more like a relief. She had a placid smile on her face as the school nurse took her to fix up her hand.
