me. workouts. blah blah.

  1. Hello forum trolls.. lurkers, talkers, rats, etc.. my name is chris, been around for 1 year and a few months, this is completely irrelavant to my subject, so without further wait, here we go.

    So i have been working out since i started soccer, so about 10.. i had abs when i was 13, however i had never lifted weights before in my life, so my freshman year of high school, i had started lifting with track.. broke my foot, but the year later, i came back a better runner, ironically i weighted 12lb more of pure muscle..well i had a hairline fracture in my saccrum.. just above your butt.. and i came back, so there is my history, for you trolls please dont say a word. Well wannabe trolls.

    So I know this is a poorly developed story that is probaly awful, but ok, here are the questions i bring forth to you.

    Bodyweight, or weights, what would you say is better for getting stronger? I personally do calhestenics, i just recently got back into hard workouts, so since i advocate bodyweight, im going to be bias so here is my question, i dont care if you anwser in order or whatever, but ok here it is,

    Push ups or chest dips, which one ftw on chest and triceps?

    pull ups with over hand, or underhand for the back, which one?

    Wide grip pull ups, or regular grip pull ups?

    Well i hope you enjoyed reading my pointless thread. It was out of boredom and yeah..

  12. FrozenSnow, no i do not lift weights, id ask you the same, but frozen snow hosts no strength and would be nearly flattened under 45lb. And its ok, i expected that.
     
  13. Ok in all seriousness. I work out. I lift. And if you want to build BULK, lift heavy and low reps. Want to be a lean, fighting machine? Lift low and high reps.
     
  14. Yeah, I don't lift.  My weak bones.
     
  15. The BEST workout using your own body is a push up. Always. It works every muscle in your body. Legs too. Pull ups not as quite as it just dangles down. You feel?

  17. Yeah i get what your saying, except my goal is to do muscle ups which requires exceptional strength in your upper body.
