Masculine Hunt Where?

  1. So a while ago ATA asked the community about what kind of themes for hunts we wanted. They mentioned a Masculine hunt theme and asked what we prefer for the theme and clearly didn’t deliver yet. If the current hunt is supposed to be it it’s a bit miss and it wasn’t one of the options. I just don’t appreciate how the guys here never get anything or rarely do that’s all

  2. Masculine is a very broad topic.

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by this, considering all hunts do have masculine items and avis incorporated within.

  3. Takes time to draw all the things and come up with a story to go with it all. If it got enough votes it will come in time

  4. Some masculine tropes include:

    Dark colours/black/red.
    Outdoors activity
    Sports
    Physical labours
    Technical skills
    Gaming
    Beer/whiskey
    Muscle cars
    Trucks
Badassery and aggression rather than cuteness and submission.
    Meat over vegetables
    No pink/purple.
No flowers, lest they have thorns or are ugly... not looking cute.
A stern/cold rather than warm affect
    Skulls
    Loud and hard music.
    Sharp angles.
    A lack of ornament.
Basic clothing - black clothing. Jeans.
    Strength
    Protectiveness
    Responsibility
    Stoicism
    Independence
    Self-assuredness and confidence.
    Patience

A masculine item could be a cool/customised car
A tux, tie, top hat, walking stick, pipe, deck of cards, chess board, beer, whiskey, vodka, weapons, weights, tools, leather-bound books, protein-rich foods, signs of a wild and reckless bender e.g. Golf cart, traffic cone, street sign, shopping cart.
Perhaps also items that have been man-handled, with dented corners or scrapes.
Superheroes, superhero memorabilia, programming related items.

There were more masculine items in the early days of pimd.

However one thing you just don't see much anymore are beastly/savage animals as opposed to cute animals. I think there was the mushroom bear recently but it's the only one I can think of.

  5. Back to what Dino said, they asked for suggestions to pretty much plan out whatever hunts they still need for the summer. They do try to make sure they’re planning ahead/having things ready far before the hunt surfaces. It’ll come in the summer. Just be patient.
