Pls don’t put coconut oil or things with a high percentage of it in your hair to “help it grow” or “make it softer”, it’s not healthy !!!

  7. i've heard it works well for afro-textured (i believe that's the right term?) hair as long as you rinse it well. i don't think it's good for non-textured hair though, because it's more prone to being oily and adding extra oils is unnecessary.

  8. It can be okay for textured hair but not excessively or often, as for non-textured hair it’s a biiiig no no. It will end up making hair rather heavy and greasy because it’ll want to hold onto the oil, especially since people with damaged hair are the ones using it a lot of the time

  9. i'm white af so i have non-textured hair and i literally have to wash my hair once a day like reallyyyy well to make sure i don't turn into a greaseball. couldn't imagine wanting to add MORE oils to it.
