  1. During those final days of the collapsing Marxist experiment in the Soviet Union, Soviet novelist Chingiz Aitmatov retold the following story, which has been paraphrased here.

On one occasion, so it was narrated, Stalin called for a live chicken and proceeded to use it to make an unforgettable point before some of his henchmen. Forcefully clutching the chicken in one hand, with the other he began to systematically pluck out its feathers. As the chicken struggled in vain to escape, he continued with the painful denuding until the bird was completely stripped. “Now you watch,” Stalin said as he placed the chicken on the floor and walked away with some bread crumbs in his hand. Incredibly, the fear-crazed chicken hobbled toward him and clung to the legs of his trousers. Stalin threw a handful of grain to the bird, and it began to follow him around the room, he turned to his dumbfounded colleagues and said quietly, “This is the way to rule the people. Did you see how that chicken followed me for food, even though I had caused it such torture? People are like that chicken. If you inflict inordinate pain on them they will follow you for food the rest of their lives.”

  11. They are one in the same

  12. Communism is far left. Fascism is far right. The political philosophies between the two are very different. Neither are good in practice, and have horrendous outcomes, but that does not mean they are the same thing.

  13. You are incorrect, here's the definition of fascism:

A fascist is a follower of a political philosophy characterized by authoritarian views and a strong central government — and no tolerance for opposing opinions. Fascist traces to the Italian word fascio, meaning "group, bundle." Under fascist rule, the emphasis is on the group — the nation — with few individual rights.

The Right wing's stance has always been for as little government intervention and control as possible. Communism and fascism are both left wing ideals and are basically one in the same.

  14. There are facets of fascism that are ideals of the right-wing, such as a strong military, class hierarchy, privately owned business, and the right to private property ー all of these are rejected by communism.

  15. büllshït. You have no rights under fascism or communism. It's the nation over the people. Period.

And without a strong military or an alliance with a country that has a strong military your nation would cease to exist, pick up a history book. That's not even a partisan issue at all.
