A girl sits naked in the interrogation room he feet up on the chair her knees to her chest a police officers coat drenched over her sides blood dried all along her left side her long black her covering her face that she buried in her knees. Tears rolling down her legs.
A police officer enters the room and sits in the opposite chair. He looks at the girl maybe 19 years old and he says "who are you, how did you know the old man, and what happened." 5 days earlier A black cat walks along side the old man muscles moving under her fur with each step the old man smiled at the cat as they walked into town. He said hello to all the people and bought his thing. Then a shop keeper came out a lady mayn't in her 40s heavy women she smiled "well hello there kitty it's nice to see you again. I have a treat for you" the women pulls out a little fish and gives it to the cat.the cat walks back home with the old man but even with the tiny fish in her mouth she still takes each step with grace her muscles moving slowly under her skin. They get to the old mans little cottage about a mile or two away from the town the man let's the cat into the house and then he sits down on the couch. He looks around the room at the many wood workings he had over the years and then at his cat. He remembers finding her 6 years ago in the pouring rain she was scared and hurt but he healed her back to health and now she was his only companion. The cat finishes the fish and climbs into the lap of the man who then pics up a remote and turns the tv on petting his lovely cat. The hours pass and it gets late so he gets up and gets in bed the cat then runs over and climbs into his arm pit curles into a ball and lays there her head on his shoulder and her body against his side they both sleep soundly.
