In a dystopian society, the end has come. The elders are trying to boost chances of the best humans to be produced for optimal performance. Therefore, one man came up with the Key To My Heart system. When a citizen turned 15, they would take a personality test, based on their score they would get a special marking on their hand. A colored key for males, a colored heart for females. Each color could only mate with a matching color. Until a few rebellious teens changed that. Red=passionate Orange=generous Yellow=selfless Green=dreamer Blue=thoughtful Indigo=trusting Violet=courageous Pick your gender and color. Role play off of that
I awoke to a sunrise. A beautiful sunrise, with very vivid colors, reds, oranges, pinks... Colors I loved but I was forbidden too. I looked at the heart on my right hand. Purple. A glance at my clock told me to get ready for school, or just a big place our leaders play puppet masters in our future. They have nothing but match making seminars, war training, countless other "skills" that our nation called Oagea needed to have. I ran a brush through my black, choppy layers, and teased the crown area. I let my eyes wander. The cute red keyed boy next door was leaving, so I hurried with the eyeliner and ran out the door. Luckily, my mother left my school bag by the door. I didn't glance behind me as I called out to him. "Demetrius!" he turned around, and smiled the biggest smile right at me, and I felt little butterflies. Today would be great.
