On Halloween in 2003, my family and I went into the city because my mom had bought a car and she needed to make a car payment to the dealer. We decided to take my little sister and her friend trick or treating out there. My mom made her payment and my sister and her friend were trick or treating. It was getting late so we decided that was enough. We ate at a fast food burger joint and began the long drive home. When we were on the freeway, a car was driving right next to us and the driver was wearing a mask, staring right at us. Everybody started to get scared. He was keeping up with us and had his head turned sideways staring for about 10 minutes. He drove on ahead and we all calmed down thinking he had left. But that night as I went to shut the living room curtains, there was a figure standing across the road watching the house. And the mask had been left hanging on our front garden gate. This is a true story. Not from me, my own ghost stories aren't scary just unnerving lol. -
I have one. This girl was alone at home watching tv upstairs. It was pretty late and she started getting ready to go to bed. As she was about to go downstairs she got a call from her neighbour telling her to come outside for a minute. The girl was irritated saying it is was already late and to just tell her on the phone. The neighbour insisted that she come outside. When the girl went to meet the neighbour he said: "I just called the cops because I saw someone moving around in your room and I knew it wasn't you because I saw you were upstairs." When the police arrived they found a man hiding under the girls bed, waiting for her to go asleep. Although I've heard this happened to a "friends friend" I believe it is an urban legend. Thought I'd share it anyways.
Oh and this one actually happened to a friend of mine. She was with her cousins and they were fairly young 10-12 years old. They had found out what spiritism boards were and wanted to make one. They decided the best place to try it out would be the attic of the house. It was a creepy attic, much like something from a horror movie. They set up the board and asked their first question. "If anyone is here give us a sign." At that very moment a book fell out of a bookshelf and landed on the floor open. This was a self-made sturdy bookcase and no other books fell out. The book that fell was The Bible. They all ran out and never went back to see what page The Bible had opened at.
When I was a boyscout our troop went out for haloween soon I noticed a shadowy figure following us... Everytimea tried to go up to it it kinda went poof not that scary i know but unerving to me cause sometimes I see it again
This is a true story. It's about a place a few towns away from me called happy valley. It's like a nature camp thing. But it use to a town back in shakesperian tines. Happy valley was quarantined because of the black plague. So a big group of us went to happy valley for the day and stayed the night. We went to the graveyard. There were so many ppl that died there. And so close together. Some of which on the same exact day. Babies had died there. It was so sad. So later that night we set up camp, had a bombfire and we partied a bit. No biggy. But it was when everyone went to sleep that the weird stuff started happening. My friend Nikki woke me up because she had to go to the bathroom. So were walking out in the woods. She tells me don't look obviously. It got really quiet and all the sudden, both of us heard a loud cackling coming out of the woods. We screamed our heads off and ran back to the tent. A few hours later, I woke up to a loud banging on one of the cars. I woke Nikki back up, and we k Looked but there was nothing there. Then we woke everyone else up, my friend Alyssa, Megan, Kayla. And we sent Megan to go wake the guys up. But they said it was probably just an animal or the wind and told us to go back to sleep. I couldn't go back to sleep though. The only other thing that happened that night is, over the light of the fire, I saw a shadow, a big black shadow. The next day, alyssa, Megan, Kayla, Nikki, and I took a walk down a few of the trails, there was an area where there was a brick foundation to maybe a house or something , any ways when we walked passed there I got the goose bumps and cold chills down my spine. And I could hear a little girls voice. It was so faint. But she was singing. Lalala, I asked them if they heard it. They said no, they just got rele cold. Happy valley is haunted by a lot of spirits and it's freaky. As soon as I go there I get cold chills. I won't ever stay there again. It's deffinetly a place to check out
I can tell another story, it's not wicked scary but its pretty creepy. My aunt bought this house that use to be a old folks home. 3 ppl died in that house. One women killed herself by over dosing on her pills, one old guy had a heart attack in the bathroom downstairs and another old lady fell down the stairs and broke her neck My uncle is an architect, so when they moved in, and they were remodeling, my uncle was tearing down a wall and found a bloody cane in the wall. One day my cousin, my sister and I were in the living room watching MTV or something. My cousin muted the tv and was like, did you hear that, it sounded like someone tumbling down the stairs. My brother and I stayed the night in the guest bedroom, we were probably like 8 and 9, now all the rooms have natural hard wood floors. The floor boards started creaking like some one was walking across them in the middle of the night, but that could have been anything because it's an old house. But my aunt had a picture sitting on the dresser, the next morning it was laying on the floor. My little cousin Kendra was 3 at the time. And she use to talk and "play" with a little girl named ruthanne. She said that they were friends and that she saw her. She gave a full description of her. There was no record of any children dying in that house so the little girl is unexplainable. But for the longest time my aunt and uncle didn't believe the house was haunted. But one day my uncle was standing in the kitchen near the downstairs bedroom, and something or someone blew on the back of his neck, and when he turned around no one was there. So they finally beleived us.
