No. I just personally prefer people that dream with as much of their imagination as possible and try to reach their goals.
Don't know m8.Are dreams worth it? All those aspirations? I do have one though, I want to be a billionaire.Even though I am far from it it's the only thing that drives me every day.
You don’t need ambitions to reach other people’s goals, but you do to reach your own. I’m sure some very successful people have little feeling towards the whole thing.
Not wrong. A little bit sad depending on why (i.e. ik a few ppl who never bothered with university/higher education because they thought they were too stupid). But if you're just happy not rly doing much then whatevs
I have never met anyone who was successful at anything that wasn’t driven to be successful. I have however, met driven people, that did not discuss their drive with people that lacked passion, or did not believe in them, or themselves.
You need goals if you want to progress in life. People without goals are the 40 year olds that are still working dead end jobs. Set a goal Make a plan to get to your goal When you reach it, set another That's how you succeed. Blind luck is only something that works in the movies, it's not realistic.
I don't believe in having "no ambitions" at all. At some point in your life, you've tried to draw lines that leads to what your future will be - tried to imagine and pre-build what tomorrow will be. We often confuse goal as an ambition, but it is certainly not, though in some way, you can say that having a goal is like having an ambition because both refers the same thing. I bet you've had goals, you aren't just driven enough.
This one Jewish existentialist named Frankl claimed that we wouldn't even wake up in the morning if we didn't envision a story/narrative for ourselves in which that was a part. We all have ambitions, whether personal, social, ethical, professional, etc. You just don't know the meaning of the word.
