iOS 5 update volley coaching made easier

  1. I just recently got the iOS 5 update for my iPhone and noticed an interesting feature. Under settings->general->keyboards you can create short cuts. For example you can enter a shortcut such as "omw" and then under phrase you can type "on my way" and then when you type "omw" when messaging someone, it will switch to "on my way" automatically. You can create phrases for each volley step here and just memorize the short cut. When I volley a player, I like to do one step at a time so this would be useful. Some people just copy paste one single message with upgrade instructions which I think leads to the player upgrading incorrectly more often. I like to go one step at a time so I think this would make it faster and easier for me to instruct. An example of easy short cut names to remember could be:
    ¥1
    ¥2
    ¥3
This way you don't have to memorize each shortcut. Does anyone else plan on doing this?

Note: I do not know if you can use this on an iPod or iTouch or whatever else there is. I know it works for iPhone and iPad.

  2. So you can download the iOS 5 on to your 4G phone?

  3. I have the iPhone 4 and was able to get it. Just sync with iTunes and check for updates and see. I believe the iPhone 3 can do this too.

  4. Mmkay

Also iTunes 10.3 I think, is out.

  5. I will, when I get the 4s (in about 3 weeks)

  6. You can also store wall arts as phrases an memorize their shortcuts do you don't have to copy paste the wall arts and can send multiple wall arts in a short time.

  7. ¥ doesnt seem to always work for shortcuts. If you just use regular letters for shortcuts then it seems to work. I have my wall arts named wall1, wall2, wall3 and they work fine.

  8. Good Suggestion my friend.I just upgraded yesterday. But i am not able to use the emojis ever since i upgraded on Pimd.Any ideas why?

  9. Emojis do not currently work on pimd unless you paste the emoji or use a shortcut. This is because pimd is not updated or fully compatible with the iOS 5 update. And by shortcut I am referring to the shortcut and phrase under keyboards.
