"Demi?" Stevie asked. She waved her hands in front of my face. I broke out of the day dream. "Yeah?" I replied. "Seriously Demi, it's like you're somewhere else," Stevie said. "Sorry," I said, pushing my lunch tray away. Stevie and I sat at the far end of the cafeteria, alone. I was more invisible than Stevie though. "I'm gonna go," Stevie said after a few minutes of silence. She picked up her tray and left. At Algebra, my teacher told us to pair up. In the blink of an eye, everyone was paired up, leaving me standing by my desk. "Demi, you go find someone to work with," The teacher said. "'Kay," I mumbled. I walked up to to other students who were pretty decent and worked with them. I just ended up doing everything by myself while the other two started gossiping about Tressa's party in a week. I wish I was invited. Sometimes I feel literally invisible. I like mostly in silence. And God am I awkward.
