PROLOGUE: Nikki was an ordinary girl, up until she figured out she had physic powers. She found she could sense people's secrets just by listening. So when she moves to a new house in Pennsylvania, she finds that the whole town is full of lies.
CHAPTER 1: "My first day at my new school. I really wish we didn't have to move around so much." Nikki hated moving, she barely made friends at first and then they move and she has to make all new ones. Since she is 17, she asked if she could move out, but since her dad says she is to young, he tells her she can live with her aunt out in Pennsylvania for all he cares.( So, if you were wondering, her dad is a loser who doesn't pay attention to his only daughter, and her mom was a drunk who got killed in a car accident 10 years ago.) Nikki is so happy she doesn't have to see her dad again, but she doesn't think she will like her aunt Talia, who she has never met, any better.
CHAPTER 2: "I'm going to school now Aunt Talia," Nikki yelled upstairs. "Goodbye, I will see you at 9 after I get out of work, have a great day!" Aunt Talia yells. "I hope," Nikki mumbles. -------------------------------------------- When Nikki pulls into the schools parking lot, she is hit with that weird feeling again. She slams her car door shut and goes to find her first class. "Excuse me, do you know where room 140 is?" Nikki asks a nice looking girl. "Yeah, let me show you, hey are you new here?" says the girl. "Yeah, I moved in with my aunt a couple days ago, by the way, I'm Nikki." "Oh, cool, I'm Sophie," she says as she walks up to a door, "well here is room 140, we should sit at lunch together and talk, I got to go now, see ya!" "Bye and thanks," I wave as she leaves. ----------------------------------------------- I walk into class and sit at an empty desk. As I get out a pencil and books, a guy comes over and sits next to me. "Hey what's your name new girl?" "Nikki, yours?" she asks and notices how cute he is when she looks up. "Oh, I'm John," he says,"if you need help getting around the school, I'll be over there if you need me." I look over to where he points and before I know it, he's already going back over there.
CHAPTER 3: After Nikki gets out of second period, she goes to lunch and sits down at Sophie's table. "Hey Nikki," Sophie says joyfully. "Hi," Nikki says awkwardly, looking between Sophie and her friends. "Oh sorry about that, Nikki, these are my friends Jennifer, Mickey, and Kaylee." "Hi!" the three girls sing in unison. By the end of lunch, the girls had become to get to know each other. But suddenly John walks over to the table with one of his other, cute looking friends. "Oh hey John, who's your friend??," Nikki asks. "This is--" John says and gets cut off. "Hi I'm Charlie," he says as he waves at the girls. "Nice to meet you," Nikki says and waves back cutesy, trying to flirt with him. "I came over here wondering if you wanted to come to a party on Friday night?" "Yeah, um, sure, we'll have to see." "Here's my number just in case you need it," Charlie says and gives her the paper. "Okay, thanks!" Nikki says as they walk away. "Omg guys, I can't believe it's my first day here and I'm already being asked to a party!" she whispers happily. "Don't count on them though, they are bad news girlfriend," Sophie warns her. ------------------------------------------------ As Nikki leaves school later on that day, she just can't wait till the party on friday, even though she got one off her bad feelings while in the lunch room today.

CHAPTER 4: Party Time! Part 1 Nikki had a great first week of school. She texted Charlie to tell him she was going to the party and she hung out with Sophie a couple times. They were becoming attached at the hip already with their friendship. Nikki texted Charlie to see if he was ready to pick her up and take her to the party. He said he was already on his way, so Nikki went over to the mirror to fix up her makeup. The door bell rang and it was obviously Charlie. Nikki ran down the stairs to answer it. "Hey, let's get going, we don't want to be late," Charlie says, smiling and shooing her towards his car. ------------------------------------------------ When they get to the party, not everybody's there yet, so Charlie went and got punch while Nikki went to find Jennifer. In class, she said she was going to go for the hell of it even if she doesn't like half the people there. She wanted to crash the first party Nikki was going to so she wanted to find Jen before she did something to ruin it. When Nikki didn't find Jennifer, she went to find Charlie, hoping Jen won't kill the party after all. When she spotted Charlie, she started walking over but was stopped by Sophie. "I told you not to come to this party, it isn't safe here!" she yelled at Nikki. "Who said you were my mother now?" Nikki says, defending herself. "I'm just trying to protect you from them, they aren't good." "We'll see about that one," Nikki says and walks away.
