Interracial Love.... Kesha's Pov *Beep... Beep... Beep...* I woke up to the sound of my irritating alarm clock blaring in my ear, I quickly flipped over to my side and hit the snooze button. I always set my alarm 15 minutes early before I had to officially get out of bed. I laid there pondering about all the activities and meetings I had scheduled for the day. The only element that kept me from going insane was my boyfriend Peter, He was one of the top lawyers in his firm tall dark and handsome with green eyes that could make your heart melt. My last 5 mins before I got up I laid there daydreaming about him fantasying about the day I would become his wife and we would have beautiful bi-racial children with his eyes and my dimples. Finally I got up took a shower and blow dried my long blonde hair, I was caucasian both of my parents came from very wealthy backgrounds, They had tried to marry me off at least three different times to different politician's son's but, I wanted nothing to do with it anymore. I wanted to find my own way in life and I was doing a pretty good job maintaining the lifestyle that I wanted to obtain. I worked as a fashion editor for fashion star magazine in New York City. I moved here after I graduated college with a degree in fashion and left my small town ways behind. My family resided in Hanover, New Hampshire a few miles away from Darthmouth College It was a lovely area just not for me. I applied my makeup that brought out my brown eyes and curled my hair and slipped on a grey dress with black peck toe heels. Grabbing my binders of all the stretches and articles I had to present for today's meetings and my car keys I was off to the city to start my day. Hello all, It's been a while since ii have written. Kesha's Pov: My day ran smooth today I was able to breeze thru my meetings with no problems. After a long day I returned home and started pampering myself for tonight's dinner with Peter. He was taking me to an elegant restaurant to meet some of his colleagues from his law firm. I had never met any of them before, in fact I have never met any of his friends or associates. Dinner was at 7 pm and he was sending a car to come pick me up and meet him at the restaurant, Which left me roughly 2 hours to get ready. I drew myself a warm bubble bath and allowed my smooth cream colored skin to emerge in the warm water. listening to "You Were Always On My Mind" by Willie Nelson on the radio. After I had washed and dried my body off and applied lotion and my makeup then slipped into a simple black dinner dress along with my silver heels and silver accessories. I did my hair in a tight bun and glanced at myself in the mirror and was finally satisfied with my look. When the shoffer driver arrived I grabbed my keys and clutch purse locking my door and slipping into the backseat of the car. Once I had arrived at the restaurant I saw Peter waiting out front for me in a grey suit with black dress shoes and a black collared shirt. There he was as handsome as ever. The shoffer driver came along to my side of the car and opened my door, I said thank you and stepped out walking up to Peter and gave him a long tender passionate kiss. He embraced me in his loving arms and then opened the door to the restaurant placing his hand on the small of my back gesturing me to go inside with his other hand. " After You." He said in his smooth deep voice. "Thank you baby." I said as I walked in front of him while he directed me to where our table was and pulling out my seat so I could sit down. "Everyone I would like to introduce you to my girlfriend Kesha." Peter said as he introduced all the men at the table along with their dates. [i*] I could feel all the evil looks glaring at me as if I was worthless. [/i*] "Damn Peter, You didn't tell us she was.... W.. w...White." One of the men managed to get out. " I didn't think it mattered what the color of her skin was." Peter said aggressively. "Hey come on now man no need to get upset, We just didn't know white girls were your thing." Another man said with a devilish grin on his face. " I don't see why it matters who or what I'm attracted to as long as the person treats me well and with respect as I do her!" Peter said as rose up from his chair. "Come on Kesha lets go I can see bringing you here was a mistake and I didn't know it was going to be such an issue. Gentlemen enjoy your dinner."
