In a town called Ash which is as boring as it sounds, day was breaking. The sun slowly rose over the horizon. A cop stopped at the town doughnut shop, a mother woke to her baby crying, and the newspaper boy set out on his route. 13 year old scarlet woke to find her hands covered in blood.
UPDATE: I hope u like it Scarlet stifled a scream. She had faint memories of something...something tht had to do with the crimson blood. She shook her head. "No" she told herself "it was all a dream." She walked to the bathroom and scrubbed her hands. She brushed her long red hair and tied it into a ponytail. She grabbed the newspaper and sat down at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee. Scarlet had convinced herself nothing happened until she read the headline. "32 year old Sarah McKinley murdered in her own home." Her cup shattered on the ground spewing coffee everywhere. That evening when she went to sleep she told herself that there was nothing to worry about, it was all in her head. The next morning there wasn't any blood on her hands but someone else had been murdered too.
I will update tomorrow afternoon and I am writing this for class and putting it on here before I turn it in so I know how good it is
UPDATE!!!!!!! Indigos POV The knife glinted in the moonlight. She chuckled at the blubbering man below her. Did he really think she would let him live. She almost felt pity for him. She shook her head. How could such foolish thoughts enter her head. She raised the knife and drove it down into his heart. The last thing he saw were the indigo eyes. Scarlet's POV She was relieved; there wasn't any blood this morning. When she read this mornings headline her heart skipped a beat. "64 year old Thomas Vanderbilt was murdered in his home last evening. No suspects have been found." It couldn't have been me, she thought, there wasn't any blood! Just then the phone rang. "Hey Scar it's Dawn!" "Dawn! How are you?" Dawn was Scarlets best friend...and Mr. Vanderbilt's niece. "I'm ok, I guess. The boss-man wants to know where you are." "Oh my god I forgot about work!" Dawn giggled, "You better hurry!" Scarlet hung up the phone and grabbed a peice of toast as she walked out the door.
