The tape from this hunt and pamphlets from 2 hunts ago are tradable items but there's no indication of that in their item descriptions. Traditionally, all tradable items had a gift icon. Please add some indication to their item descriptions if they can be exchanged between accounts Ty P.S. This is not a question. It is an observation of a problem and a suggestion. You can discuss whether it's a problem or not, or if it's good that there are tradable items that can't also be gifted.
Did we not establish in your last thread that the gift icon is for giftable items, which are also tradable? It seems the only items lacking the gift icon are those that can can be traded, but not gifted. That kind of sums it up. Gift icon = giftable. Imo, another icon for trade only isn't necessary, when the hunt threads indicate what items drop, what their ability is, and whether it needs to be traded to other players (or alts). A trade only icon would be easy to add though, if it really becomes a problem for players. As always, with suggestions or constructive criticism, you should be sending it in to ATA via a help ticket, or possibly even by reaching out ig to a dev yourself. Unless you are seeking others support or opinions on the subject? That isn't coming across in your OP though.
Manic it says it’s a “suggestion” and that it’s up for discussion at the bottom, and when you send in suggestions they ask you to post it in forums to gather user opinions. Although I guess he also could’ve worded it better instead of basically posting the same thing again.
The tape from this hunt doesn't need to be traded with another item that you can't earn yourself. I know that pamphlets and decorations fit that rule but this is an exception to even that. So why are any tradable items not also giftable especially when it adds to confusion? I guess the presumption is that it'll take people too long to send them 1 at a time via gifts and people will prefer to just trade, but is the option harming or inconveniencing anyone?
Yeah, it's just poorly worded I guess. Even the last sentence seemed directed more so at ATA with the way it was structured. People can discuss it if they wish, I left it unlocked as I figured that's what OP intended. So long as it's also been put forward to ATA also! They've been taking a lot of suggestions on board lately. 😝
Yeah, since they're making more of items that can be traded but not gifted, I think maybe incorporating a new icon to indicate tradeability might be useful. I always assumed the gift icon also included trading and I know I'm not the only one. I suppose because there aren't many items that can be one but not the other, there was never previously a need for a separate icon. Support!
