If winning was as noble as losing this way...

  1. Hi, just left a war I officially lost in. And I don't feel bad. Sure it was bad to lose but I was glad for the experience.

We were outmatched from the beginning. I joined when they were winning. When the other team recruited a few big guns it turned around. I couldn't join til after I finished work so it was excruciating watching the club start to lose and not being able to do anything about it. We worked as a team. A lot of the club members was from my previous club. I pledge eternal loyalty to them except the odd occasion when I find myself opposing one on the opposite side of the battle field.

I tried my best. Ignorantly using all my doc notes to plunder. Even luring mercenaries to join the war with free tanks and shutter shades.

At the end, the owner nobly asked everyone to leave to force a forfeit before the halfway mark. I was sorry to go. I didn't want to leave but I had to obey the owner's orders. I have so much more respect for him now. Hard for an owner to make such a decision. I don't know if I would do the same in his shoes...
