I don't understand...

  1. Dear writers,
    Why are you all so obsessed with getting readers? What's the point? If someone is going to read your story, good, and if they don't, their loss.
    Do you always write what you want? Or, do you just go with what is popular?
    Do you ever want to branch out, write something that you like, specifically for you? Do you ever want to explore the other genre of story?

    Dear readers,
    Must you always bump?
    Can you not spare a few minutes to analyze the story and give a bit of constructive criticism?
    No story is perfect, of course. But still, you continue to give praise because you enjoy all of the death and romance and even incest, even if the story is grammatically incorrect, the story itself is dull, and the writer needs to greatly improve. Maybe you don't want to be mean, maybe you just want to continue bumping because you feel sorry for them.
    Writers, I assume, post their work to be scrutinized by the public. If you don't give them that then they are deprived of becoming a better writer.

  7. I've written a couple stories recently. One is a Sci-fi action and the other is a co-write with Royale about incest. So diverse .-.

  8. It's so queer. Nobody bothers to read my stories. They get lost in pages and never shown again.

    I've lost my faith in my abilities. ._.

  9. A wild Doctor appears because he read the word Sci-Fi. Which story? I just haven't been reading much of anything.

    Also I think most writers (me, included) feel that the less people actually read, the worse it must be. Secrets is fine on readership. But Outsiders and The Reign have lost a lot of readership in my opinion...

  11. Meh, if you really love what you're posting, why would you stop? Readers will come if you like your own story.

  13. Qin, I've tried.


    I've updated about three times in a story once, long updates, and got only four bumps from different people.

    Bumps.

    Nothing else.


    Not only is it discouraging, considering the fact I'm self conscious and crap, I immediately panic and hide under my bed then search frantically for any mistakes or so.

    I'm starting to think I'm a paranoid schizophrenic... OH NO, WHAT IF IT MANIFESTS WHEN I'M OLDER?! O.O
