So there's this thing at work "I Care " it's about customer service and interactions and whatnot and they gave me this 30 page booklet that I have to fill out. It gives me these customer service questions and I have to fill em out. Obviously. Can I get some help? They're easy questions I'm just too distracted and lazy to use my brain. I already did part of it. Keep in mind I work at a hotel, so customer service is heavily required First Question: "What is the key to taking a routine interaction and making it a memorable experience?"
First name basis, especially if they show up a lot. Enjoy your stay at *insert name here* If there's anything I can help with, please ask. Simple little things
Ehm... Make eye contact. Pretend to listen. Give some head nods, and say "mhm" every once and a while. That's all you need to know. Then they think you care.
How does, 'Yes I can help you with that,' make you feel? And How does that help you with your customers?
I wonder if googling the question would help tooor I could just run over to the nearest Hotel and "Interview" an employee and have them answer all that.
