But I could possibly be the owner of this little cutie this time tomorrow. His name is George. He's 7 months old. He was found in a junkyard before being taken to the shelter. He sat on my lap, purring for 30 minutes. It was love at first sight for both of us. The only problem is that I'm not sure if I can afford him. So, I'm asking you, fellow PIMD pet owners, how much does your pet cost you per year? Anyone have any tips on how to save money as a pet owner? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
My cat is pretty and cheap Her name is toonces. Tee hee. Ok so, i ussually spend about 50-60 dollars a month on food and cat litter, and maybe some more in toys and things she wants every so often. (wet cat food is her favorite) (also treats And catnip) Shes the best i love her so much i love her ssoooooo muuuuiuch
Your cat is so cute!!! I'm mostly worried about the vet bills. \: and, unfortunately, the little guy has a sensitive stomach, so I have to buy him specific food. Maybe he'll grow out of it? Do you have pet insurance? Is it worth it?
A stray cat ate my chick while i was playing with it when i was young. But i dont bear grudges. Go for it!
Aww what a cutie, congrats!! If there are any animal rights/protection organizations such as the Humane Society in your area, they usually have low-cost vet clinics which make things such as check ups and vaccines more affordable (at least here they have a clinic/animal shelter that offers low cost vet services). Also call a few vets in your area to get an idea of the cost so you can plan appropriately I thought I'd be drowned in vet bills when we got our husky puppy, but I was very surprised to find a good, caring vet nearby that was very affordable. You may have to spend some $ on specialized pet food if he has a sensitive tummy, but again, visit a pet store or talk to your vet, they can recommend the best type of food for your kitty and you might have different options to choose from. Good luck with your new pet, and congrats again! It's great to know he will go to a good home
Including vet bills, grooming, pet clothes, food, treats, toys, and other accessories I'd say we pay about $50,000 a year. He's quite spoiled lol he's a five year old Maltese (dog). You know the ones with really long white hair? We spent an extra 10,000 on pet shows and CKC stuff lol he's quite expensive but we love him I wish the best of luck to you and I hope your able to afford this lil fella
Having a cat just and NOT spoiling it with so much shit would probably get you to spend about 50 dls a month. I've had two cats. They weren't cheap. Both were strays. As for the vet bills, I was in Mexico for 3 yrs when I had those 2 cats. So the vaccines were about 20dls each. Idk how much they are here in the US. So there's the vaccines which is extra but it's not every month.
