I make a thread asking complete strangers what to do. I don't think I'll get trolled at all and everyone will be sincere.
I have severe social anxiety along with my clinical depression. ? What I do is try to find a distraction, like reading a book or listen to music to get your mind off your fears.
By tackling the source. ? it's a tough inner battle but you can't fix something if you don't know what the problem is in the first place.
Have u seen a doctor? They can refer u to a therapist which can help u deal with ur situation. All anxiety is different. Some can b treated and some u just have to learn the best way to deal with it.
Online tips aren't the solution everyone's anxiety is triggered due to different reason consult a therapist
Yeah, need to distract your mind ^^ Especially at home. Also breathing. If you're freaking out and really need to calm down take a min and just focus on inhaling and exhaling. Might take 5 mins of that but it could calm you. Mentally pep talk yourself. Was told to always tell myself "this will pass" "this isn't as bad as it seems" in therapy. I eventually went to pills because therapy wasn't for me and I needed more. Recommend seeing a doctor if you haven't already for evaluation and some help tho. ? bubble baths are nice too
There are some "meditation" videos online where you close your eyes and listen to someone walk you through it. It can really help. I do it every once in a while and it really calms me down you can just google mindfulness/meditation videos online. There's plenty.
I'll try those distractions next time I know I have social but that's not what happened this time. It was more like I was panicking about some things in life but more extreme than normal, almost fainted. I can't see a doctor but maybe one day I can get help with everything. But yeah I'll try the distractions and the videos and the breathing and the pep talking and the source finding. Fight me beer.
