So I've been seeing ads on apps for like semi-permanent tattoos that go away in a few weeks, and then there's semi-permanent hair dye and stuff. But HOW is it semi permanent? Permanent means forever. Cant be removed. Why is it not just TEMPORARY? why SEMI PERMANENT THAT DOESNT EVEN MAKE SENSE. You can't say it's semi perfect because that just contradicts itself stating IT'S NOT PERFECT. EXPLAIN THIS TO ME. THIS MAKES NO SENSE. IT'S A CONTRADICTION ON ITS OWN
Longer than usual temporary stuff? But not permanent. Semi-permanent. Better than complete imperfection? But not perfect. Semi-perfect. Like Not casuals. But not formals. Semi-formals. Idk. English is weird. People, weirder.
But IT'S STILL TEMPORARY. The word temporary does not have a time limit though. Semi Permanent isnt even a valid adjective since it contradicts itself WHY
Marketing. You wouldn't want a temporary tattoo that gets removed after one wash. So, semi-permanent. Gives you the illusion of forever. Stays for a few weeks, not like other temporary tattoos that get washed within a day?
