Chapter 1 I flipped through my calendar slowly. What I was seeing stunk. I had no free time for the next week between school and babysitting and dance. No time for friends. No time for my boyfriend. No time for anything. I was so deep in thought about how I could clear my schedule that I jumped when my blue cell phone rang. I flipped it open. It was one of my favorite babysitting clients, Mrs. Dayly. I answered. "Hello?" "Hello Abiba. This is Mrs. Dayly. I was wondering if you are available to babysit on Wensday. " "Wensday?" "Yes, this coming wensday. The 12th. From four to eight. " " I'm sorry. I can't. " "ok. Bye. " "sorry. Bye. " I felt so bad she was my favorite client. If only there was a way for me to babysit a whole bunch of kids at the same time...
Thats when an idea hit me. My friends and I could run a daycare! Maybe I should stop and introduce my self. I'm Abiba Lane. I'm in 8th grade at Fontview middle school. I have dark brown hair and blue eyes. I'm 5'6 and dress cool. I'm not popular but I do have some best friends. This is who they are. Keya: Keya is my best friend. She has black hair and dresses cool like me. She's tall with green eyes. Fay: Fay is one of my close friends. She's as tall as me and dresses plain. She is nice though. She loves track. Her hair is blond and her eyes are green. Shawn: Shawn is Fays BFF. She also loves track. She basically weres jeans and areo t's daily. Her hair is blond and her eyes are blue. Thats my friends and I. We would make great after school daycare providers!

Chapter 3 The idea of running a daycare slowly started coming together over the next few days. My friends and I figured it out. It would run like this. We would hold the daycare weekdays from 4-7. We didn't have to show up to work every day. The addmission would be 2$ and we would have it in the hotels multipurpose room (I may not have mentioned that my friends and I all live in a hotel my dad owns. Its AWSOME). We all donated our old toys. We started telling our clients about it. They all loved the idea. Before we knew it it was opening day for the Time For Fun Daycare.
Chapter 4 My stomach had butterflies. My legs were shaky. My head was spinning with crazy thoughts. What if the kids were total brats? What if we couldn't control them? What if we ran out of food and supplies? I looked quickly at Keya. She looked pale. Very pale. Then it was time. The clock struck 4:00. I grabbed the scissors and cut the red velvet ribbon. Before I knew it little kids were handing me money and heading in the daycare. You should have saw their faces. Some raced to the book corner. Others went to the fort we had built. It was a loft, kind of. Some went for the toys. Some went for the crafts. Some went to snack. I was so proud.
