"BONK BONK" *slap* "Uhhhh....." It was 6:00 on the first day of high school. Being one of the most popular girls at school (along with BFF Micky) wasn't so bad. But there was always so much pressure. To do the right things, dress right, PARTY right. Stressful. I got dressed in my favorite outfit-Hot pink Abercrombie tee, faded jeans with holes, and some of my new sneakers-brushed my teeth, and did my makeup. "ANNA! Breakfast is ready!" "Just a sec, Mom!" I got my favorite bracelets on and headed downstairs. "Mom, this is delicious," my brother Ryan told her. "Thanks, dear!" she replied. I ate silently. 15 minutes later I got a text from Micky. "Hey, meet me by the gym in 10 minutes." "Kay." I put my phone in my bag and made sure I had everything. Notebook, pencils, sunglasses. Yes. Ooh wait. Pen. Okay. I headed out the door for Ryan's car. "Hurry up, Micky's waiting!" "Okay, okayyy..." As he drove, I texted Micky. "Be there in 5 minutes" She replied "okay see ya then."

When Ryan arrived at school, I dashed for the gym. Micky was walking by the bushes in her usual outfit-Black boyfriend tee, tights, white combat boots, tutu, and her bangles. "ANNA! Hey!!!! How does my makeup look?" ...This was all she wanted? Oh well. She's my BFF. "It looks great!" "Oh okay." As we walked into the main office, I heard applause. "LOOK! It's Anna and Micky!" "OMG!!!" *sigh* The usual excitement. I smiled. "Oh look. Ms. Fancy Pants." Micky said unpleasantly. I giggled. Jennifer never wore anything casual. Today she was wearing-rose red high heels, 3 necklaces, and her yellow flowing dress-and Micky didn't like it. "She's always so fancy." Micky never wore anything too fancy. She was spunky. *DINGGGG* Oh! Um...science? Not my favorite subject. Ehh. Oh well.
I only recognized one person in science. Sophie. She was Ryan's girlfriend, and one of my many friends. I sat next to Sophie and put my phone on silent. Sophie was dressed as her usual punk self-black Rolling Stones tee, dark purple boots, and navy blue jeans-and gave me a warm smile as I walked over to her. "Hi!" she said. "Hey!!!" I gave her a hug, since I only saw her two times that summer. In science all he did was tell us how "fun" science is and science is really "cool." Lol not in our generation. When that was over, we had a 10 minute break. I headed to my locker, in between Micky and Sophie's.
I put my science book in there, texting Micky FRANTICALLY telling her to hurry up. I went to go get a soda out of the soda machine when I bumped into Ryan. "Hey lil sis" he said. "Hey." He asked me if I had seen Sophie, I said she was at her locker. Typical convo with Ryan. I brushed my hair back at my locker, Micky FINALLY got over here. I think she was in gym, cause she was sweating. I grabbed some of her perfume and sprayed her pits. Ew. We still had 5 minutes, so we walked around some of the school. *DINGGG* Math? Better.
Math was basically the EXACT same thing as science. At least Micky was in here too. That cheered me up some. While Ms. Dasmine was explaining a problem to a student, I looked at my schedule. Next was P.E. ... I guess it was alright. I ran to my locker and put my math book in there. Ryan and I had doctor's appointments in 15 minutes so I wouldn't have to suffer much longer. I was definately glad about that!
Since the doctor's office was 10 minutes from school, we only had 5 minutes of P.E. Well, I did. I ran two laps to make the coach think I'm really athletic. (I'm a little athletic to keep fit but I don't go crazy) When the desk lady came on the intercom I dashed for the door and before the coach said "Okay" I was halfway down the hallway and almost fell over Ryan. "RYAN!!!" "You know I always try to hurry from things I dislike! And one of them is P.E." "Ow. And I wasn't going slow. YOU were going fast." "Okay okay OKAY! Don't start yelling." After we signed out I danced to Ryan's car. The ten minute drive was filled with jokes and music. When we got to the doctor's office I realized I hadn't been here in 4 years. Wow. They changed the place up. I played with a lady's little girl and she said she knew a place where they need helpers to take care of the kids. I asked her where it was and she said it was called Babies Need Care. I told her I would look it up when the doctor called my name.
The doctor only gave me some shots, but we could go home anyway. When we got home I checked my email. Blee, bloo, blah, bluh. Bo-ring! Wait. Tomorrow was my birthday, AND MY DRIVER'S TEST!!! EEK! Omg I was SO excited! I decided to look up Babies Need Care. I saw it was only 5 minutes from here and asked Ryan if he would drive me there. He agreed, he always does. At BNC, I signed up and they said they would put me on the waiting list, since a hundred other high-schoolers had signed up. I hoped they would choose me.
