You should do a story about a young teen who wants to fit in and she tries really hard and goes through all these "phases" of sterotypical teen groups" (goth, preppy, nerd, etc) through her head when she goes to sleep each night. After a few nights (can be months if you'd like), she'll slowly be piecing together herself through these numerous "other" versions of herself in the real world (obviously you'll have to come up with what happens there...). She might notice she doesn't need to try so hard to 'fit in' or be 'perfect'. Then on the night of her 16th or 18th birthday, she'll finally have the dream where she realizes this and she'll wake up and live her life perfectly happy an comfortable in her skin/body.
