Happy Chinese New Years guys! Or Asian new year. Well I want to hear your stories about how you celebrate, where, and last but not least, how much money you got Well, every year me and my family go down to Long Beach where my grand parents live and we have a big feast. There are roasted duck, pig, veggie noodles, that red meat (I don't know how to say its proper name) , soup, and meat and corn fried rice. My family, my cousins family and my grand parents are all there. After we finish eating we get our money bags (don't know how to spell it) I made $95 this year, the most I've ever made too! Well I did a quick summary cuz I don't know if people will want to read it .-.
I earned 10,000 MOP last year. My parent have a fuck ton of colleagues. ,_, A bunch of it went into the piggy safe. I got 2500 this year. I wasn't with my dad this year, since I usually switch spending CNY with mom and then dad each year so I don't have as much as I did in 2012. ;D And CNY isn't CNY without dumplings. I stuffed myself with a crapton of them last night. There was duck, pig, fish, rice, dumplings, rice balls, sweet and spicy soup, sweet dumplings, dough rolls, peas, MORE PEAS, eggplants, a crapton of other vegetables, and a bunch of other traditional dongbei chinese food to kill everyone with. I think everyone gained 10kg that day. （；゜０゜）
Oh! 8 MOP is around 1 USD, I think 10,000 is around 1000 something USD if converted... Dx Currency is a bitch >:0
And it was pretty badass. XD I went around in a qipao and a wig and sang some cantopop/chinesepop around the beach for fun. Dx Whelp. Fun fact is that I'm a dragon. XD
