Just your lil reminder that canadians are not actually nicer than anyone, it's a weird stereotype and Canada has a hella racist past. If you go check out Hitler's concentration camps in Germany, because they are still there for historical viewing, there is a plaque that talks about how ~alberta~ (a canadian province) was known for the sterilization and murder of indigenous women and he used it as partial inspiration when decimating Jewish ppl. Canada still unnecessarily kills indigenous ppl, one of the ways is "twilight viewings," in which drunk indigenous ppl will be picked up by cops and dropped off in the middle of nowhere to die. And they have the nerve to cover up their history of residential schools, the stealing of indigenous children from reserves to be placed in christian boarding schools where a good portion of them died and the last was closed in 1996 so it's quite recent, but barely any canadians know about it because they don't teach it in most schools. We mostly just talk about how much the US sucks and how Canada saved black ppl from the horrible US which isn't rly true, we had slaves, too. Anyway, Canada sucks~the end. Have a good day. Agreed. I just like pointing Canada's past because it gets covered up. If I ever learn Japanese Imma point how bad their country is for covering shit up, too. Canada and Japan, the two countries that like to pretend they can do no wrong. Blegh
I agree. We suck. Kkkanada has a lot of skeletons in their closet that they don't want exposed but we were just as guilty of genocide of indigenous people and still have systemic racism. It's appalling that some of us don't see it.
