I have recently noticed that a few comments on threads and some threads have been created about suicide and self harm. (i know that didn't make sense but i think u understand what i'm trying to say) Where is the hapiness ??? Life is awesome, some people struggle to see that. Some comments involve thoughts if suicide due to bullying. Did u know robert patterson was bullied as a kid ?? If he gave up on life, we would of never seen him as a sexy vampire Don't like team edward ?? Prefer team jacob ?? Well, taylor launter was bullied too. Also christian bayle was bullied. Please don't ask me who he is. I think he is a actor but the point is, he was bullied and now he is a famous actor (although i've never heard of him) Barack obama, yep, him too. One of the best rappers in the world..... Eminem. And he kicks ass, right ?? Where would we all be without his truthul (sometimes harsh but funny) lyrics. Christina agularo (yep, i spelt that wrong, someone please correct me) her voice is amazing who wishes they could sing like her ?? i know i do. Lady gaga, her unusual and unique ways caused her to be bullied at school. But damn, that chick isn't scared to be her own person and i admire her for that. Madonna, we all know her. Nothing needs to be said. Wen these kids were beaten, called names and neglected at school, did they believe that one day they would. Have millions of fans, be famous, be rich, be admired or be a inspiration ?? No but they didn't give up and look where they are now, they have a awesome life.
Nope, i'm just saying that those people that are inspirations were bullied and they kept strong and true to themselves. Unless u wana be compared to a celeb..

Beth, I completely agree with what you're saying. It is important to know that things will get better, life will go on. But at the same time it's important to raise awareness for depression. Depression is completely natural, you are not a freak. You are not alone. Winter is expecially worse for depression, it's the lack of sunlight. Even people who don't normally have depression can get seasonal depression. Take your vitamin D's, at the very least. It's more important than you think. Within the next few days I will be making a new depression thread. I will try to condense all the important info into one post. It will include what depression is, signs and symptoms, positive releases for pain, why exactly cutting and other self harm is bad, as well as other resources for teens, adults, parents, and teachers to check out. I will also continue to stess the fact that talking online can only do so much, after a while it can even make things worse. If you think you have depression, you can't ignore it. You need to ask for help.
Who's Christina? Never heard of her Nice thread and yes, people need to stop talking about suicide. It's not that I want them to do it, but I just don't think they should announce they're committing suicide here on the forums. It just proves they're attention seekers
