    Starting a War:

To declare war you must be a club president, vice president ,or executive.

    Declaring a War:

You’ll have 3 options when selecting a war:

    1. Food Fight: Let them eat cake!
      • Duration: 4 Hours
      • Starts In: 1 Hour, 30 Minutes
    2. Dorm Raid: Toilet paper will be the least of your rivals’ worries.
      • Duration: 6 Hours
      • Starts In: 1 Hour, 30 Minutes
    3. War: When all else fails.
      • Duration: 1 Day
      • Starts In: 1 Hour, 30 Minutes

You will also have to choose whether you want the roster to be “Locked” or “Unlocked”:
    • Locked: A locked roster means that anyone who wishes to take part of the war must be there before the war becomes active. After the war starts in this mode, nobody will be able to join (and if you leave you can’t get back in the war).
    • Unlocked: An unlocked roster means that anybody can come and go at any given point in time. Keep in mind however, that if you were active in the war and have hit and made money, and then choose to leave, that all the war tax you made is gone.

    How to accept war

To accept war you must be executive, vice president or president. All depending on how many admins you have depends on how many need to accept war but the max is 3 so if you have 5 admins only 3 need to accept.

    How to join war

To join war, you go to your club then click the red box and click join, or you can go to their war roster and attack someone.

    Attacking in War:

    How to Hit:

    1. You go to the War Roster, Go to your target’s profile and hit them
    2. You hit straight off the war roster
    3. You return hits of Persons who appear in your notifications
    4. You go to “People” and search the person’s entire name to reach their profile

When you want to report the hits you do, you will post the following:
Name (of who you hit) # successful hits/#hits tried/# defense items they used (f/d/p)
The f/d/p specifies if you used fight, dance or prank on your target, so here is an example:

DragonLily 4/5/7 f, this means I attacked DragonLily with Fight, 4 of the 5 hits were successful and she used 7 defense items.

If you need help figuring out how you should battle or hit other players, this guide by Kefo does good in explaining the PvP system in pimd: Guide to Battling

    How to Report Hits:

During the course of the war you will be hit because the other side is trying to win as well. To help your team/club win the war it is important for other clubmates to know which enemies are weaker so your club knows who target. There are different ways people report hits in war but this is the most common way to report hits.

All you have to do is post it to cc (club chat):
Gonzo 0/4d inc this means Gonzo hit me 4 times and got through 0 of those hits were successful. “D” means Gonzo used Dance and “F” means he used fight.

    Pots (Potions):

    Attack:

    Defense:

    Buying Pots:

To buy pots, go to the store, located at the bottom right of your screen.

Here is a link to a good thread that will tell you all the pots there are.
    Pots Thread

    Using Pots:

To use Attack pots, click on the “Battle” button and select 1 of the 4 choices. If you have pots available, they will show up and you can choose which ones you’d like to use. Or, if you have a lot of different pots, you can choose to “Select All” and continue with the battle. You can see the pages for selecting pots at the intro of this pots section of the thread.

Using Defense pots, you don’t need to do anything. They are used automatically whenever you are hit. Only the defensive pots that the attacker can actually hit through will be used. As an attacker, you will notice that the number of reported pots may change depending on your stats in comparison to those of your opponent. If you are strong and succeed, you will see your opponent use up to 7 defense pots, but as you get weaker, your reports will indicate fewer because they do not need to use all of them in defence against weaker opponents.
When hitting, you will hit through the pots like layers of defence, going from weakest to strongest.

    Plunder

    What is Plunder?

Plunder is the money your club makes when you are in a war. The amount of plunder changes throughout the war as your club continues to hit and gain money from attacks. Whoever has the most plunder at the end of the war will win the war.

    How to Make Plunder

To make plunder, attack the opposing side in a successful battle with Dance and Fight. When you win, 20% percentage of the money goes towards your club’s plunder, called the “War Tax”. This amount shows up in red text in your hit report. On your War Status page it will add up the total amount of money made from each team, not only the War Tax.
Example: If you hit someone outside of war, you may earn 100 mil from them. In war, 20% of this will go to the War tax, so 20 mil will go to war tax. You will get this war tax back if your team wins the war.

    Mercs (Mercenaries):

    What are Mercs?

Mercs, aka Mercenaries, are people that jump from club to club to help clubs with various tasks.

    Recruiting Mercs:

To recruit more players to join you in war, you can post on wc (World Chat), walls, or ask them in pm (private messaging). It helps to have an ad, so you can copy-paste, as well as give it to other members of the club who are helping to recruit.

    Tuts (Tutors):

    What are Tuts?

Tuts are other players in the game whom you can hire.

    How to Get Tuts:

You can go onto anybody’s profile and hire them, but there is also a specific place where you can find tuts.
While on your home screen, swipe left, and you’ll see 4 other buttons: “Meet People”, “Relationship”, “Tutors”, and “V.I.P.”

When you click on “Tutors” it will bring you to this screen:

If you already own tuts, they will show up here in order of descending hire value.
If you click “Hire More” it will show you a list of people that cost ⅓ of the money you have, or less:

You can also choose to “Search” (which allows you to search for people based on maximum and minimum cost), “Next” (next page), “Back” (previous page), and “Refresh.”

What are the uses of tutors?

    1. Tutors can help you by increasing attack and defense, providing “Tutor Bonus” (TB), stronger TB makes it more difficult for other players to make it through to hit you and also makes hitting some players easier for you.
    2. Increase in plunder; Owning tutors increases your plunder. Based on your stats, you can invest money into tutors to maximize the amount of money you earn from earning other players. This game mechanic also applies to parties as well.
    3. Burying Cash; The money you invest in tutors can’t be stolen in battles. And even better: When the tutors get hired away from you, you get a profit of 1/60th of the amount you investment in the tutor.

    What is Tut Bonus?

Your tutor bonus also helps you when you attack and defend another player (or party). The total amount of your bonus that contributes toward your attack/defense is not well known.

When it comes to your plunder( $ you make), it depends on the total amount of money you have invested in your tutors, the stats of your tutors does not heavily contribute to this unless your TB from your tutors makes you too strong for your opponent. When you become too strong for an opponent you will begin to see the amount of money you make from them decrease as the gap between you gets bigger.

    Teaming Up:

To win at war you must have teamwork and people must be willing to work together. Sometimes on the opposing team, there will be a person (or multiple people) that require more work to pin: this is when teaming up will come in handy, as you can gang up to keep that person pinned.

When we say the word pin we mean that your opponents are near 0 health and you keep hitting them so they stay down there. These opponent(s) do not obtain the opportunity to regain health to attack and gain money for their team.

    Pest Teams:

    What are Pest Teams?

A pest team is a group of people that are picked by war leaders.

    What Do Pest Teams Do?

Pest teams can consist of any of two different kinds of players on your war team:
    1. Smaller players: These players are too small to get through to the strongest players, these pests can prank the other side to weaken them so it is easier for bigger players to get through
    2. Bigger Players: These players sit on the side to return hits from the other team, they are almost like “back up”. These players read club chat for incoming hits and they focus on returning hits to the enemy. Their job is to relieve pressure on the big money makers in the club.

Overall, a pest’s job is to weaken the enemy team so yours can attack the enemy and so the enemy has a more difficult time hitting your own. These players relieve pressure from the your opponent.

    Self-Pinning

Self-pinning is easy, since all you have to do is completely use up your strength and intelligence (until they hit zero).

If someone’s energy is below a certain threshold, they cannot be hit, so being self-pinned grants you immunity. You can do this by doing jobs until you are empty or blindly hitting the other team until you are empty.

    Winners

The club that manages to obtain the most amount of money from the other club from the war is the winner. The winners of the war will have all the money from the war tax that they collected returned to them; meanwhile the club who loses does not have any money returned to them.
Wars are a function of pimd designed for clubs to make friends with each other and to enjoy being competitive; otherwise, building up all our stats in this game is meaningless.

    Forfeiting

For those who believe that their team has no chance at all of winning and you do not want to wait the full time for the war to end, at the bottom of the War Status page there is a forfeit button. You can also press this button in case your club is Warring on accident.

    More Things to Know:

    Crimes surrounding War:
    Enforced with farming:
    • No stripping other player’s tuts
    • No outside hits
    • No upgrading during the war
    • No farming the opposing side after the war

    Dishonorable:
    • No leaving the club after being active in the war

Note: You do not NEED to follow these rules but most friendly wars use them.

    Other Terminology:
    • F10: Stands for full in 10 minutes. Use this so you can communicate to your club mates when you’ll be at full health (usually to coordinate an attack).
    • Pin/Target “Person”: This means to target a specific person so that they can be pinned, therefore rendered useless to the opposing club. Usually this will be in the ca (club announcement).
    • Milk “Person”: This means to target a specific person so that you can earn easy cash and war plunder. The targeted person is an easy opponent and are called “cows.” The cow will also (usually) be in the ca.
    • NP (np): This means “not pinned” and indicates when a person can still be hit.
    • SP (sp): This means “self pinned.”
    • DTW (dtw): Meaning “defender too weak.” This message is also given when you try to hit someone and they have no health.
    • DN (dn): Meaning “doctor’s note.”

  6. :) No prob

Great guide btw, surely miss the good old days.

  7. Why do you cover your money in your home screen, but leave it on display in your tutor screen ?

  8. I don't see any covered $$

  9. The "buying pots" picture.

Anyway, very good job guys. Very detailed. I think explaining what each action is used for in war (fight, dance, prank, ED) would be good

  10.  Nice guide, thanks so much! Definitely easier to refer people here than to try to write it all out.

  11. Fix that

  12. Oh god I gotta break this down..

  13. Okay okay let's see..

Attacking in war~ haven't seen people do full reports including pots since around 2014. 10/10f p covers what a war lead needs to know

Tuts (What is tut bonus?)~ "the total amount of your bonus that contributes toward your attack/defense is not well known" - it's been known over 5 years actually, every 50m tb = 1m raw stat bonus

Teaming up~ "when we say the word pin we mean that your opponents are near 0 health" - actually pin is considered dtw message, which is 20% of your health

Pest teams~ haven't been used in wars since 2013/14. Having bigger players split off from what the rest are doing only weakens your offense

Self pinning~ you just explained the idea of pesting.. Then suggested doing jobs mid war..?

More things to know~ "crimes surrounding war" - it's a college rp app. What crime is there. People don't even describe account nuke or scamming as crime..

Upgrading during war isn't a crime more so that the system doesn't allow upgrades or avatar changes once entered in the war so

Dtw~ means the person is at or below 20% health, not just empty

No support from your friendly neighbourhood flocc :)

  14. LMFAO

  15. The only crime is your hiatus from forums
