The following is an updated version of Jerk's thread. I have asked permission if I can update it to the most recent update and I was told why not? So no harm done and no damage done. Please thank Jerk for making the original thread along with giving me permission to update this guide. Please support the Ata on their choices. Alright new players listen up! It's time for you to go through this intense, but probably boring lesson that you must learn if you want to grow and succeed in this game. So to start things off, here's the introduction: Alucard's Guide of How To: Hunt/Party!!! So what are you gonna teach us Alucard? What I am about to teach you is how to participate in hunts and parties. It's not that hard to do in all honesty, but for new players, it should only take you a few hours to understand how the system works. After reading all this, you should have a general idea of how it all works. So let's start off first by getting yourselves Vollied. Step 1: Getting Vollied! What you are seeing right now is what your main screen should look like. Notice it may be different for iOS players seeing that I'm on Android, but the mechanics should be the same. In order to see your profile, click your avatar or just click your name on the bottom left of your screen that's just above the chat. Your screen should now look like this without all the squiggly lines and stuff. What your seeing is your profile. Your name at the very top, your status message, your relationship, the club you are in, your hire value, your pupil, and your stats. Your stats are the most important one to pay attention to at a low level so it is important to to upgrade as high as you possibly can. To do this simply Add up both your STRENGTH and INTELLIGENCE to get your total stats. K (thousand) C (Combined) S (Stats) M (Million) C ( Combined) S (Stats) Remember these for they are very important and some clubs are strict on their minimum Stats requirement. I'll give you and example: Strength/Intelligence 2500/2500 This person has a strength of 2500 and intelligence of 2500. That means his kcs is 5kcs. Its simple math. Now that I've given you an extra lesson, here's how to get vollied to get 5kcs What you are seeing right now is called Campus or World Chat or WC. You use speakers to speak in WC but you are limited as to how many speakers you have. Ask in WC to be vollied to 300mil or 350mil. But since that isn't the case, get yourself vollied to 2B at least in order to do some upgrading. As you get vollied DO NOT SPEND A SINGLE DIME UNTIL YOU ARE AT YOUR RESPECTIVE HIRE PRICE!!! It is important because you want to have enough money left over to save and to volley others as well. Now that you are vollied and you upgraded, let's get to Step 2 Step 2: Finding A Club!!! Unfortunately, there's not many experienced clubs out there that will accept new players. Some clubs that did accept new players changed the way the club was and had a minimum stat requirement all of a sudden. There should be a thread that has a list of clubs that will accept new people As Long As YOU Are WILLING To LEARN This Game. The clubs that does accept new players, are the ones that has just been made. Those brand new clubs are willing to accept any member, new or old, to help them reach their goals and become strong. One thing that is a let down in this game, is the amount of RP that takes place. Now while some RP clubs are legit, the ones that says "anything goes" makes those legit RP clubs look bad. What I mean by legit RP clubs are the ones that aren't nasty and perverted (this excludes creature RP clubs. Those, in my honest opinion, is a big no no). Now while some RP does parties, you will not upgrade at a normal rate. Instead, the normal rate of you upgrading will be slowed by at least 75%, sometimes even more than that. You will never learn this game and its aspects if you keep it up. Sorry RP clubs, I just don't see it possible with any of y'all upgrading while acting like what you're doing in a game that makes it look like you're doing it IRL. But that's just my opinion though. Back on topic, you can find a club the old fashion way. You can click on that Margarita Glass tab and you'll be able to find clubs the old fashion way. There are a list of many clubs, but chances of the clubs being active is very slightly. Another way of finding a club is to use WC. Communication is key in this game and you won't get anywhere without it. Post in WC saying you are a new player and you're willing to learn this game. I'll give you an example. Hi! I'm a new player to this game and I am wanting to learn about it. Clubs wall me! Something like that to at least show your interest in this game. Some players will manage to wall you and post the club banner on their wall. If the club interest you, simply click their name, then their club name and press the green Join tab. Now once you get accepted, this is where you can finally grow and party. Step 3: Time To Hunt and Party!!! Thank you KedslovesJoeDracul for letting me be in your club and letting me take Screen Shots. Congratulations! You have finally joined a club! Now it's time for you to start partying and saving up until you can upgrade! There are a lot more parties than what I am showing you and I know I missed some of em, but what you are seeing are different varieties of parties your club can do! Now in some parties, you have the option of Snark, Rave, Sigh, and Lecture. Snark and Rave give you money while Sigh and Lecture is more like a.... Adding bonus to your payout when the club completes the party. Others have Eat, Peace Sign, Facepalm, and Giggle. The same is said for the other 4 I mentioned. You can UL (Unload) on these types of parties and use DNs (Doctors Note) to refill your blood (energy) and use it on the party. The more hits you get in on the party, the better your pay out will be when the party is finished. All you have to do is choose one of the four options and keep pressing "Repeat Action." Keep pressing repeat action until you are out of blood or until that bar is finished. Now you have learned how to party. But what about hunts? How do you know you participated in one? Well that is easy to answer. Hunt: Finding PotD and PPotD There is a thread the Jerk made that is used for all of us to help find the PotD and PPotD. What does it stand for you ask? PotD: Party of the Day PPotD: Pro Party of the Day Remember these two for it will be important while hunts are back to back. Clubs usually check each party and quickly gets those parties done to find the PotD and PPotD. Once they are found, they will be announced on the thread, then announced in WC. If you are in a club and your club did not unlock the party that is PotD status, then you need to get more members and you need to start unlocking parties. Note: it does take time and patience when building a new club. Do not give up hope and keep doing your best by advertising in WC. Advertising in forums should be the last place you go to and not your first. Once your club completed a party and you received items that are hunt related, congratulations. You are officially participating in the hunt. FAQ: What is up with PP(A) and CC? PP(A) stands for Pizza Pop (Art) CC stands for Cat Cafe. Cat Cafe is where you make the most money and is very very popular in this game. PP(A) is also popular, but not a lot of people are wanting to do PP(A) if there's a Cat available. There are many Cat Cafe clubs out there, but they have rules for getting into that club. You will always need a Hypnocat to join a Cat Cafe club. If you're lucky to spot it in WC, you'll see some players will say Open CC, which means you get money for free. But some of em have minimum stat requirements to join their open CC so don't always have your hopes up. FAQ: How can I get a Pizza Bikini and/or Hypnocat? Fastest way to get these two is by buying them with Extra Credits. Getting Extra Credits is not easy either. Extra Credits do cost real life money no doubt, but it is hard to get them if you want them for free. Hypnocats cost 69ecs and Pizza Bikini cost 35ecs. Another way to gain these for free is by using the spinner. Ata is basically giving you a chance to earn ecs, cats, bikinis, DNS, Care packages for free. Everybody loves hearing free. But don't think you will win them easily. This spinner is wishing you the best luck to hit the jackpot. Another way is when Ata sets up a hunt and placed them as rewards. FAQ: I don't understand this pattern. What does it mean? This pattern is used for Cat Cafe and Pizza Pop (Art) only. Unloading on these parties without given the permission will pretty much make the admins and owner upset and might result in either a warning or an instant kick out of the club. That is NOT what we are aiming for. The patterns are easy and simple. Write this down if you must. Pattern for Cat Cafe: Eat: 2-1-2-1 Facepalm: 3-3-3-3 Peace Sign: 2-2-2-2-1 Allow me to explain this pattern: When you are performing Eat, the 2 represents how many times you are eligible to hit the party. The (-) represents a 5 minute wait. So when you Eat 2 times, you wait 5 minutes (-), then you eat 1 time then wait another 5 minutes (-). This pattern was basically developed as a way of everyone having a fair share for their payout (at least that's what I believe). Just remember the number represents how many times you can hit and the (-) represents a 5 minute rest time. I accidentally overhit CC. Am I gonna be kicked? Sometimes the club will let it slide, especially if you admit to what you did. Some players are even like, that's fine don't worry about it (at least that's how I am). Remember it's only a game and you are learning. Expect to make a couple of mistakes. Not everyone is correct on their first try. You gotta crawl before you walk. What happens if we failed a party? It's really nothing to fret about. Even the strongest clubs tend to fail parties, but they aren't worried about it. Just keep trying til your club finally succeeds!!! That's all Folks!!! You have been taught how to play the basics of this game, you have learned to join clubs, you finally know how to party, but most importantly: YOU HAVE MADE IT TO THE END OF THIS THREAD!!!! Ok enough celebrating. But before I'm finally out of your face, I want you to remember something. This is just a game. Never be afraid to ask other players for help, including the ones that have experience playing this game. The ones with experience playing this game could probably tell you all the good times they had before parties and hunts existed. You might even learn a thing or two. Overall: IT IS UP TO YOU ON HOW YOU WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME!!! So remember: have fun, put in great effort to become strong, and make new friends. ¡Adios!
