  1. Just out of curiosity, if you're gonna do a blog do you follow the grammar patterns as in a book or is it free hand like you would in a journal?

FanFiction homies feel free to chime in.

  2. Whichever you prefer, it’s all about that preference

  3. I agree with this guy if you're not looking to satisfy an auaudience. If you are then since there are so many grammar Nazis, and OCD rampant keyboard warriors I suggest going grammatically correct. Would suck for a great blog to be overlooked or heckled just because some people pretend that they can't naaurally insert a pause into a sentence with no punctuation.

  5. It's your blog, you do what you want

  6. Take some inspiration from Jinger’s blog tbh

    Jinger likes this.
  7. I'm just thinking the way my mind works it'd be written like a play with .... and -- and blah blah. Less like I'm telling a story to someone and more like a monologue. Not quite sure what kinda "writing style" that is to look further into it.

  8. As an English major, do what you want. Blogging is informal; it's not an academic thesis or an e-mail to your boss. It isn't important as long as people can still understand what you're saying.

Sidenote: Half the people that complain about needing "proper grammar" have a bunch of mistakes in their own grammar. No one's perfect and there is no "moral high ground".
