  1. Going Political
    Chapter 1

"I don't know," the girl said. She was laying down on a black leather couch, facing the white ceiling above her. She placed her dainty hands together on top of her abdomen.

She exhaled then spoke again, "I just--I just can't see eye-to-eye with her." She shut her eyes, as her audience listened.

"Hmm, did you talk to her in a calm and objective manner?" A man asked. He sat a few feet away from the girl--on a black leather rolling chair. He leaned and held his pen upright, ready to take notes and observations about the person in his company.

"How can I talk to her objectively, of she sees stubbornly insists everything subjectively?" The girl asked, placing one of her arms over her forehead.

She heard the man scribbling on some paper. "Is it really necessary for you to write down everything I say, Jay?" The girl asked, sitting up and looking over at the man.

The man chuckled and grinned, "Yes, Eliza. I might as well practice now, no?"

"Ugh, you suck," Elizah said, frowning at Jay, then laying back down.

"Well, you're the one who wanted to talk. Might as well get something out of it," Jay snickered.

Elizah shifted in her spot, turning her back away from him. She lifted her hand and gave him a thumbs up, then spoke in a sarcastic, but barely audible voice, "you're such a great friend."

Jay laughed and shot the girl a smirk, "well, duh."
