  1. It’s National German Chocolate Cake Day!

Only problem is I personally don’t like German Chocolate Cake

I’m assuming there are others that are probably in the same boat.

So in order to solve this problem I thought we could share what our favorite flavors/types of cake are!

I have several: In no particular order
    • Red Velvet
    • Tres Leches
    • Opera Cake
    • Rum Cake
    • Tiramisu

But Maddi, What if I don’t like cake?

Share your favorite dessert of a different type!

Here are some examples of other desserts that I like!

    • Key Lime Pie
    • Pumpkin Pie
    • Salted Caramel Cookies
    • Nutella Cookies
    • Macaroons
    • Cookie Dough Ice Cream
    • Vanilla ice cream with added Bourbon
    • Churros

Let your inner foodie out and share your faves!!

  2. What's the difference between regular chocolate cake and German chocolate cake?

I dun like cake but I like pie. Pumpkin is good, I like rhubarb pie, apple pie, pretty much all pies. Except chocolate pie or savoury pies.

  3. Plz stop making threads I’m trying to sleep ?

  4. Also I love a lot of desserts!
I just don’t like toooooooo much chocolate like I can’t do chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and filling...
But my fav cake flavors are:
    Marble
    Red velvet
    Carrot
    Pink champagne
    Fav type of desserts:
    Pumpkin pie
    Tiramisu
    Cheesecake
Specialty ice creams (red velvet, black cherry, etc)
    Macaroons
Churro (I love vanilla filled ones)

  5. O o o. I love trifle which has cake in it. That's the only way I'll eat cake tho.

  6. Okay here we go;

    Pumpkin Pie
    Apple Pie
    Cupcakes
    Tiaramisu
    Creme Brûlée
    Macaroons
Peanut Butter and Chocolate cake (grandma made this a lot for me)
    Strawberry Parfait with cake bits
    Chocolate mousse
    Churros
    Peanut Butter ice cream

  7. German chocolate cake is a layered chocolate cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting.

    Chocolate cake is just chocolate.

  8. I’m sorry that my thread disturbed your sleep.

Also I’ve never heard of pink champagne flavored cake

  9. I'm not really a fan of cake... but I decorate and sell cakes as a hobby. Go figure. ??‍♀️ My favourite desserts though are macarons, beestings (the traditional brioche kind) and pavlova. Oh, and chai spice cookies. They're fun to make! Om nom nom!

  10. I don’t think I’ve heard of beestings before ?
Also I like the irony you got going on there

  11. Ooooh u missing out try it with buttercream frosting ?

  12. I don't eat cake. But I like cookies and churros tho

  13. Cake yummy

  14. Oml... they're so yummy. It's a German dessert called Bienenstitch, but Western culture calls it a Beesting cake cause it's glazed with honey before baking! Brioche (more pastry than cake) layers with a custard cream in the middle and almond flakes on top. I don't even like honey but it's caramelised and just... ughh... yum. Now I want one. 

  15. I lava the

    Cheesecake,
    Honey Cake,
    Caramel Cake,
    Chocolate Mud Cake, and
    Carrot Cake.

    Blueberry muffins
    Pear muffins

    Apple Strudel
    Apple Crumble

Also Banana Everything. Bread, split, pie, whatever. Banana is the best berry.

Chocolate Mousse was the dessert I always went for as a kid. Everywhere we went, if they had chocolate mousse, I ate it even though it often made me puke later. worth it.

  16. Not a fan of cake myself, but I do like ice cream cake and cheesecake. My mom makes a delicious Oreo cheesecake, as well as a several-layer ice cream cake with fudge.
Bienenstitch is so good ? that one looks absolutely delicious, did you make it?

  17. Ice cream cake is the only cake I can actually tolerate. ? Oh, and cupcakes.

  18. There is a whole day dedicated to German chocolate cake?

    I am impressed

  19. Oh that’s kinda similar to Choux Buns
