  1. Hello everyone,

The point of this post is to further explain our reasoning behind the removal of Super Pro Parties, and what this means for the game moving forward.

    Why We Launched Super Pros

We want our fans to keep coming back for years, and many of you have. But as players grow in Party In My Dorm, the parties available to you haven’t grown at the same rate.

Our goal is to provide you with a compelling reason to grow and Super Pro Parties aimed to do just that, by extending player progression and providing more end game content.

    Why We Removed Super Pros

We treat new content in PIMD as an experiment of sorts and closely monitor the impact it has on the game. We measure the change it has on gameplay, how it affects balance, and the social impact it has.

Over the last few weeks we’ve noticed that Super Pro parties have had a negative effect on a lot of things we measure (yes, this includes revenue as well).

When we announced Super Pro Parties we said they were here to stay, and that was our intent at the time. However, in the end, the difficult decision of removing Super Pro parties was made with the game’s best interest in mind.

    Where We Go From Here

We understand that you desire new ways to grow, and new parties to explore. Having a reason to grow, and seeing a direct result of that growth is important and we’re always looking for more ways to help you do just this.

This means that in the short term, Super Pro Parties are being removed.

In the long term, we’ll continue working towards a solution that addresses these concerns, maintains balance, and rewards our growing players.

  2. ehhh still not buying it

  3. can you elaborate on the "negative impacts" aside from revenue?

  4. I demand 5x cat cafe weekend as compensation. Kthx.

  5. Well :geek:

  6. yup still not buying it and not happy

  7. Still utter crap ATA small players cannot hit the normal Pro party's so for you to try and con us the players by saying it was causing a divide is bullshit you give less and you take more
Wake up before you yes ATA ruin the game

  8. Lmao  they haven't done anything to make the game for fun! We suck doing the same boring ass parties now. All ata cares about is hunts and making cash

  9. Well what's the negative impact apart from revenue?

  10. We monitor a number of different metrics. We track the number of every single party started, the number of players participating in them, and the overall progression of players. We can’t give out exact numbers, but a change in any of these can lead us to look further into if a design choice makes sense.

  11. They count on us to continue tapping mindlessly and to use notes so we can tap some more.

  12. We've brought about a number of changes to the game in the recent past. An entirely overhauled UI, Prize Spinner, Chat Improvements, Gift Improvements (Returning Rejected/Regiftable Indicator), Daily Specials, and more.

We've also been experimenting with new things in our hunts. We're always experimenting, and with this one we tried to add a daily aspect and the Pin Collection mini-event. Some things work, some don't, and we continue to learn and improve.

  13. Still talking . Revenue is your ONLY reason. You didn't care when u killed pvp because your revenue went up with cats and DN for fast cats. You int care when cat cafe clubs became the only way to grow because revenue went up. This also goes for your disregard of abuse of cats, lack of drop percentages. You couldn't give a flyer how your 'fans' feel.
Furthermore were not fans right now most of us. I think you're feeling that at least? ??

  14. We've mentioned this before, but in regards to PvP and Wars:

While there are some players who are very passionate about PvP and Wars, such a system needs widespread adoption to ensure a fair, balanced, and fun experience.

Beta wars were just that, a beta test. We've tried bringing them back a few times in different ways, and each time the turnout simply does not sustain long enough for it to be an ongoing focus. The behaviour of players does not match the voice of those asking for them.

That doesn't mean you can't still fight others and declare your own wars, as you've always been able to do.

  15. You mean there were less parties started when we were running 6-9 hour parties instead of 2-3 hour parties? Shocker, who could have seen that coming.

Let's be real here - if it was an experiment you should have said as much originally. "We're going to try these out for a while and see how they go" instead of "they're here to stay!"

Regardless of what you told us originally though, you're removing the ONLY change you've made in years that was actually WELL RECEIVED by the community. We clearly enjoy this new aspect of the game, with many older players saying it breathed a little life back into the game, and now you're removing it. You are basically giving the community the middle finger.

    MayaTheHopeful likes this.
  16. I've actually like the Super Pro idea. Like the Ava idea that went with it was cool in a way.

  17. Tbh, The Super Pros made me WANT to grow.
