Forever

  1. This is for all you Maximum Ride fans!

Recently the last book came out: Nevermore. The facts in there didn't really make any sense at all. So I am making a series that will be a lead off of the books.

(I know I posted this on Off Topic. It's not spam, people just say that I need to put it here.)

    Forever

I'm not one for mushy feelings. So imagine how I felt at the end of the world. It wasn't as bad as you think. In fact, I was with the ones I loved (even if one was trying to kill the other).
"Angel, are you getting anything?" Angel was sitting with her eyes closed on the edge of the cliff.
"All the entrances are underwater and sealed off." I looked into the murky water. It surprised me that just a few minutes ago, I almost died. Well, that happens on a regular baises.
"Any news from Jeb?" I asked her. We left him on the steps in Utah with four broken ribs.
"I can't tell," she said. I looked into the sky. Shades of pink and yellow blended together. We've been everywhere from Ant-fricking-artica to Paris. But I have never seen something this beautiful.
"It would be even more beautiful if the world wasn't destroyed," Angel said. I sighed and walked around. I decided to go check on Fang.
Now, there is something you should know. This isn't the first of my books. The last one was like the eighth one. But Dylan thinks we should keep track of what's going on right now. So it didn't just end. The begging of the end has only begun.

I will post more chapters when I write them.

  2. Okay, that was kind of corny. I guess this whole thing is getting to me.

I jumped off the cliff and spread my wings. Yes, I said 'wings'. If this is your fist time you've ever been on this ride, then you should know we all have wings.
I wasn't sure if the gas in the air was toxic not. So I stayed low to the ground. I felt so powerful. I spotted something black in the distance. As I came closer I saw it was Fang.

"How's it going?" I made a running landing. That wasn't the easiest thing to do.

"Most of the trees are unsalvageable," he said. I looked and saw the trees burned up from the split.

"Good thing Dylan got most of the kids into the caves. We almost didn't make it." He smiled his famous crooked smile at me. I felt my heart beat faster as I remember his last words to me; I love you Max.

"What about the tree houses?" I asked.

"All of them were destroyed," he said. This day just keeps getting better and better.

"How about food. Are some plants not charred?" I was afraid to hear the answer.

"Honestly, I haven't been far enough in to check." I sighed. I sat down and hugged myself. My mind didn't seem to comprehend the 'end of the world' at fist. But now it started to sink in.

Fang sat down next to me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

"We'll get through this. We're survivors," he whispered. I wanted to believe him but it didn't seem possible. I looked at him and felt tears in my eyes.

"Don't, just not right now. They need you; I need you." He leaned on closer and kissed me.

I don't know who long we sat there. I heard a cough and saw Dylan standing behind us. His hair was drenched in sweat.

"Hope I'm not interrupting or anything, but I think I have an idea on how to get them out of the caves."

  3. I jumped up off the ground when I heard the news.

"Well, what is it?" I asked him impatiently.

"I figured that if we dig down into the tunnel from up here, we could just pull them out." I thought about it for a moment. I looked at Fang and he shrugged.

"I guess it could work. But what are we going to dig with?" I asked him.

"Haven't really thought about that part. Maybe you can figure it out on your own." Dylan soared into the air just like I taught him. But more graceful. He looked as though he was an angel going back up to- forget I said that.

"Well, it's an improvement." I looked at Fang.

    "What is?" I asked him.

"At least he's isn't trying to kill me."

"At least we're still alive," I replied. Fang came over to me and hugged me.

    "Immortal, remember?" I laughed.

I stated flying back toward Angel. My face was still a little red. She was still siting at the edge. But she looked like she was asleep.

I landed silently a few yards away and crept over. She was flinching and whimpering as if in a nightmare.

"No," she whispered. I didn't want to wake her up in case she was having a vision.

"You can't be gone. You can't!" She screamed. Angel shook violently. She started to wheeze and cough. Then she fell of the cliff.

  4. Are people really reading this? If not then I'm going to stop updating.

  5. I'm reading! It's good! Bumpdate please

  6. Wow. Third page already? I better update.....

No no no no. Not Angel, not again.

I ran and jumped off the cliff. I could see her blonde ringlets make their way toward the water. I tried to go faster but she was falling too fast. Even for me.

I looked around for someone, anyone, to save her. Then I spotted Dylan. He was rushing up to meet her. He caught Angel and shot straight up. He flew past me and back up to the edge. I went back up.

Angel was awake now, but as white as a sheet. She had this horrified look in her face as if she just saw the whole flock die.

"Angel, are you alright?" I asked her. She ran over to me and hugged me. She started crying.

"Oh, Max! It's even worse than we thought!" she said. I held on to her and rocked her.

"What's wrong sweetie? What's going on?" I asked. She peeled away from me and looked into my eyes.

"The contagion, it's spreading. And Jeb is still alive."
