FOOD REVIEW: Instant Noodles - Episode Three - Ni hao! 你好! Today's episode brings us to Asia as a continent! Many Asians rely quite often on quick home-cooked foods that are easily available and prepared. Due to our pursuit of the rat race, a slow dinner is a rarity. Some people are adamantly against fast foods, therefore, instant noodle is the next best option. But who says a quick fix needs to be bad-tasting? Not me! Because all my food are beautifully presented and definitely yummilicious! There is a common denominator in both photos other than the noodles. Who can guess what it is? Well, you guessed right. A sunny-side up egg with runny yolks! Cheap. Delicious. Easy. Besides that, try blanching some green vegetables - no over-cooking, or they will lose their color and crunch! As for the rest of the ingredients, instant noodles simply goes with just about anything! How about some luncheon meat (spam) or with some teriyaki chicken cutlets? How about some corned beef or even natto (Japanese fermented beans) or kimchi (Korean spicy pickled vegetables)? The possibilities are endless! Just remember to sprinkle some freshly chopped spring onions and cilantro sprigs on top and you are good to go! So go on ahead! Play with your food! Daddy Matty says it is okay! Well, these are not ramen (I keep pronouncing it as Raymond, force of habit. It is RAH-MURN, I know!) but normal cheap instant noodles. But we can buy instant ramen from where I am too! My Blizzybaby like ramen?
The only thing I can make is ramen... Instant ramen. ._. boiled water and cup noodles are my survival friendzies.
I think they have this really nice instant beef noodles from Taiwan! I've never had it but my friends told me it it fantastically AWESOME!!! It's like freeze dried beef or something that expands when you cook it. Favors still intact! Sounds amazing, right? NEW INSTANT NOODLE TECHNOLOGY!!!
I was going to make instant noodles for my mom on Mother's Day.. Unfortunately I woke up at 6 ish and couldn't cook due to me running around packing and crap. ,_,

Blizzybaby!!! Just cup noodles?!!! No EXTRA ingredients?!!! Isaac, you can try getting those dried shrimps or add some seaweed or even bonito flakes into the soup. Very easy and it doesn't cost much. Daiso also has some dried stuffs that can be added into soups to make them more fabulous!
I hate Ramen noodles but my hubby loves them. I'm gonna jazz them up like you did. I'll even sneak in some veggies. Happy Healthy Fun Eats
