What is your opinion on Tofu? In person, I've only heard negative things about tofu. But online, I've become aware that alot of people use it as a staple in their diets as a healthy alternative to meats.
Same! I've been interested in trying it but I feel like it's somewhat complicated to incorporate into meals effectively? And taste good
That I have heard. A lot of the negativity comes from people preparing it inadequately, according to my high school Japanese-language teacher. Japan apparently uses tofu a lot in its cuisine.
It's ok in a soup with flavor and many other ingredients. It's an otherwise flavorless waste of bean product.
I like it when cooked properly. And tofu puffs in ramen are delicious. A lot of ppl can't cook it tho so I'm careful about where I eat it
Tofu is like...the loml. I donβt know why, but I grew up eating it all the time so I can eat it completely plain. Fried tofu is really good too!
Iβve got a fairly plain palette so I like it really basic. However my friends really like mapo tofu!
I like the fried kind. π it's all right in soups, and it can give smoothies a nice texture. It doesn't taste like much but what you put with it, so it's versatile. I don't really eat it much because my body doesn't like digesting legumes. π
