A young man, son of the Emperor, sits on his golden throne, his crown glistening with rubies and diamonds. He held a golden staff covered with thorns and rubies. He was handsome, but he was cold. His icy glare would make his servants freeze, any eye contact would mean certain death. His skin as cold as winter, a touch could make you freeze. His heart made of ice contains a black hole where it sucks in all of the love people give. His soul, cloaked with darkness, would snarl and bite. Yet his soul was still pure. Pure with innocence. He had been brought up like this, by a monster. The monster was his father. Whispering lies and tall tales into his own son's ears. He believed them. The servants would always convince him that his father was lying, but he would push them away, act like he was disgusted of them. Yet, somewhere, deep in his heart, he believes. The void in his heart could be filled. Today, another young servant tried convincing the young lord. He pushed past the man, and walked out of the room. He needed to take a walk. A walk in the forest. He walked and saw the greenery, the lush trees, the ripe fruits. He saw the animals, the fox, the raccoons, squirrels, and even met a wolf. He stumbled across a clearing where he met something that would change his life and fill his void. It was a girl. He doubted it but her beauty drew him closer. She had long brown hair and pale cheeks. He walked nearer and nearer, until their faces met. Their lips almost touched; and they did. She woke up, woke up to find her knight in royal armor above her, mesmerized by his sight. Without hesitation, the prince picked up the fair maiden, and left the clearing. They headed deep into the forest, where no one saw them, ever again.
