Black History Month is an important time to step back and take stock of how we acknowledge and amplify Black voices and identities in our society. We wanted to make sure that this month's avatars and furniture are once again able to shine a light on the excellence and successes within the Black community. As developers it is our responsibility to have our players be able to see themselves represented in game. By working together, we feel we have been able to include a variety of identities that reflect the diversity of our community. Being able to represent yourself is critical in the fight against discrimination and adversity, and we hope this helps. This year for Black History Month content, we once again consulted with Multi AWARD-WINNING COMICS WRITER, EDITOR, AND PUBLISHER Taneka Stotts. Taneka brought fantastic insights from her incredible list of works and credits, to help us celebrate our new collection of avatars and content. These were inspired by high profile Afro-American musicians who used their platforms to push social change and encourage talks around racial equality. We hope this content resonates with you and you love it as much as we do.
