Hey master farmers, I just have a quick question! Isnt it normally farmer etiquette to inform admins and club president that someone in the club is under SFW and to kick them before they start hitting other members of the club?
I have another question about farmer etiquette. I apologise in advance for not offering an answer to the op but is it normal farmer etiquette to farm the tut of someone in sfw?
I've done it. Keeps the Tut from being able to ug and gives the pupil one more person complaining to them. Win win
π What I'm hearing is there are no rules but the rules the individual holds themselves to. Y'all definitely pirates.
I've always been contacted to kick a club member before members have reported hits to me, so I think a good amount of farmers try to get the member kicked first. Then again, I dunno if they tried to hit first and got a dtw because of hitting parties.
Either way, I feel like this is a good thread to have so we can learn a little about what goes into farming and how it differs from person to person. It's good information.
Farmers on here usually have etiquette and a code of conduct. Like not farming someone who has cf'd to you and not sf'ing people on BL. It is generally advantageous to talk before hitting, although someone who hits first is like someone who bites icecream. Fumb but you ought to get out of there before they curbstomp your soul. Y'all talk like everyone who farms is some lawless kent when most are just people who don't like parties.
I like it when farmers have a moral reason... like farming people who are genuinely rude to them, caused issues in their club, is a bully in forums or pub, rips of newbies, or even another "farmer" that preys on the weaker just to get items. That I can get behind. I can't get behind those "farmers" I just mentioned, or the ones who farm out of jealousy. Goddess knows people bring rl into the game and it's ridiculous tbh. Or even just ig rs drama drama drama. π People who play PIMD for the PVP aspect tend to farm other people who play for the PVP aspect, cause there's no challenge in hitting someone who doesn't care enough to hit back or ever cf. At least, that's what I've seen and experienced so far!
There are farmers like these are and there are others who don't gaf. To say that all farmers have some sort of etiquette is to assume that all farmers are the way you described them. As a mod, I've gotten tons of complaints about farmers doing things like farming after cf or not allowing players to kick before hitting the entire club or even putting some random in sfw for absolutely no other reason than the farmer was bored. There is no etiquette or code of conduct that all farmers go by and telling people that there is will just lead to more people complaining to us about farmers doin dumb shiz. Farming is a part of the game. My advice if anyone is farming you: just ignore it bruh, and for the love of god, don't give them links. yes im responding to kefo but this is just general advice
Well lemme ask this, does blocking someone prevent them from seeing your posts in let's say campus or pub? Because I don't think blocking someone is gonna help me, my ign sticks out like a sore thumb π€£
