They said it was because of all the emotional stuff he went through all those years  he couldn’t handle it so he started drinking ??‍♀️ he almost lost it all in the end

 

Because he spent all of his time inside playing games, drinking excessively, eating chocolate and chips, and not whooping evil ass for like 5 years.

 

Um Ironman still had his family. Thor legit lost his whole family and Asgard was destroyed. He had nothing left to fight for... he was dealing with trauma...
(He also lost his avengers that was the only ones by his side)

 

He “dealt” with his grief of loosing his family, asgard, and failing to save his friends by eating a ton and bullying kids over fortnight. He’ll probably be back to his slimmer self by the next Thor or Guardians of the Galaxy Movie.
