I think most people drown because of panic, like a huge wave catches you off guard and next think ya know you're inhaling water
Usually because of current. Current drags the body down, and eventually the person runs out of air but can't float back up. Seen it happen before my eyes before.
You are 100% correct. It did happen to me, i can swim, and i did just fine till the current change and the wind made the wave stronger, even swiming backward can't help the water from entering the nose, Ocean can be pretty scary :sad:
It's easy to drown you can drown in a teaspoon of water it has to do with the water entering the lungs
