One common thing I've noticed Is that I've talked to many folks on here And like the ones constantly chasing avatars and hunts and dropping money I've noticed r the ones that lacked impulse control like they couldn't control their impulses Nor could they control their patience A lot of them were even emotional buyers And ovetime I noticed the ones that spent more were the more emotional/lacking patience/impulsive buyers Over the more logical/common sense players So it got me thinking Does ata target this audience or what? Do you think most of the spenders on here are the emotional/impulsive buyers or they the more logical type? Then again I haven't met many logical folks on here that thought it was a good idea to drop like 1k or 5k or 10k in one drop So whatcha think boiz
Id say nahh but in a way yehh. They all try target people and create addictive type functions. People get addicted to gambling coz slot machines spinning and its a easy simple movement. This game has the spinner. Then theres boxes with the oooooo what am i gonna get. Element
This isn't an ATA problem, really. It's more an overall mobile game issue, and arguably an even more over-arching capitalism issue.
I can't say it's a mobile game issue as stated before it's apart of gambling like slot machines, and you don't say it's the casino fault if someone is addicted to it. And there is other options which is use bentos for those who saved
I mean you can. They specificly make things that trigger part of the brain to make you want more. Food companies do it to. Add stuff to their food that is addictive to make people want to get more and more.
I had a friend leave the game because she was embarrassed about how much money she spent on here so Iād say yes and no.
You know the casino preying on them addicted mines bruh you know it why you defending the casinos lol
Nah this ain't capitalism problem this is ata problem y u tryna defend them u know they know they doing this on purpose my g they got chu don't they, they gotchu ok that high ata-corn syrup
It's not a defense to say that ATA is part of a larger issue based in capitalism lmfao. I'm a ā and have personally been 'victim' to the poor impulse control because I have bipolar disorder and have spent a few hundred more on here than I'd like. Just say u lack nuance and go
But they are doing nothing wrong as they aren't forcing them to come in, they are there to get money which everyone else does just like fast food take-aways as well, basically you are saying take all fast food down as well as the gambling places because they all cause some kind of problem with people, there are also more companies that do it that aren't included in those sectore that do the same thing
All of them do the same thing. They add things to trigger part of the brain that makes you wanna go back for more. Sure. Its not 100% their fault. But they are not completely faultless. They are probly 60% at fault
Nah bro it's like 80% I would say 60% but they aren't dumb... They. Know. Exactly. What. They. Are. Doing. 100% and they use it for their own gain. There's no excuses my guy.
