Hurry the fuck up, Kat. I told myself. Faster. Not enough time. Get those damn.. Done! Alright, which way out of here? I grabbed the flash drive and crammed it into the pocket of my dark jeans. I looked around, my crimson red hair going this way and that. I bolted out the grey door into the plain white, long hall way. I decided to go left and started running down the hall. Panting heavily, sweat dripping. I had to get out of here fast or... I suddenly tripped at the sound of an alarm and landed on my hands. I was panting heavily and so stunned at the extremely loud alarm I hadn't even gotten up yet. FOCUS! I got up and continued running ignoring the alarm and sirens wailing by. I practically tackled the door to the stairs and started going up. I heard sirens, police, orders being yelled, everything. I ignored them and eventually got to the top. I was extremely dizzy but managed to get on to the roof. I was greeted by strong winds and was knocked off balance. I stumbled to the edge and saw the whole building surrounded. I whipped my head around looking for my possibilities. Come on Kat! Think! I heard the SWAT team running up the stairs. Yelling protocols and orders. Finally, I grabbed the flash drive and threw it. I watched it fall out of my view. Just as I did, I was greeted by the blinding lights attached to the SWAT team's guns. I didn't have any energy left to put my hands up. I could hear them yelling but chose not to listen. I could've fought them. Struggled. Pleaded innocence. Something. Instead, I chose to faint.

  2. Oh and please critique it! I will gladly accept it! 

  3. ^^ Paragraphs. Just paragraphs

  4. YES! I always forget to do paragraphs!  Will do! 

  5. I love it. I could imagine very vividly!

  6. Thank you! 

  7. Great story it's extremely imaginable and the ONLY criticism is your paragraphs... I love it all!

  8. Another story? It's amazing how you do you it...

  9. Damn paragraphs!  Haha I always forget to do that! Thank you though! 

  10. Lindsey, I have like four stories and yes it's challenging but I like being busy.  Any criticism?

  11. Hmm... Paragraphs, and try to spend more time in the moment. (if that makes any sense...) try to spend more time describing the scene and don't rush right into another scene. That way we will have a clearer picture, and the updates will be longer 

  12.  Hahaha I know I rush. I'm like so anxious and ambitious to do this! 

  13. I'll update later tonight! 
Just letting you guys know. Be ready! 

  14. All I'm going to say is paragraphs. And try to spend more time in the moment like Lindsey said. It feels like everything is going by in a big rush. Slow down.

  15. I'm just gonna agree with what Lindsey said. And say I love the story. 

  16. It's an action so you know..  I shall slow it down! And I'm finishing up the next update! Should be here this weekend!

  17. Everyone has basically said it already para's and apart from them fantabydosey 

  18. ARRRRRGGGH! I know it took FOREVER! BUT HERE IT IS!

"Come on! Focus Kat," Zeke's absolutely AMAZING Australian accented voice said. We both laughed for a good five minutes.

I kept laughing, "Sorry, Zeke." I wiped the tears from laughing uncontrollably. I could feel the people's stares in the New York public library we were in. I ignored them. Zeke and I were best friends. NOT in a relationship. I had no idea why the kids in high school couldn't understand that. We were both seniors in high school. It was just a regular public high school. Nothing special really.

Today he was helping me study for my science exam. Science. My weakest subject. His strongest.

Zeke's Australian. He was one of those above average students. Not top ten. But he is pretty smart. Not to mention good looking. His deep blue eyes. His shaggy dirty blonde hair. He had a muscular build. And not to mention an Australian accent. Obviously.

But I would never go out with him. Anything farther then this friendship would be... Wrong. We cared for each other. The thought of him ever leaving my side had never crossed my mind. Ever. Nothing exciting ever happened in our lives. So I would've never expected for this to happen. Which is why I could've never prepared myself for what happened next...
