The suspects were lined against the wall, two out of five were petrified. The rest, were positively still, not even blinking. "... Bring the two into the interrogation room, STAT." The officer nodded before racing out the door, hollering a his colleagues. ---- "Shouldn't you be asleep?" The woman was reading the reports and profiles of the suspects and victims, frustrated. Slapping the pen onto the table, she turned to her partner before glaring. "What's it to you?" "You're my partner. Of course I'm worried." She turned, her back faced to him. It was clear she didn't have time to deal with his crude jokes and badass behaviour. "Giving me the cold shoulder, eh?" Wanting to start a normal conversation, she ignores him and goes back to doing whatever she does best; working. The woman was getting on his nerves.
