  1. Depression. It is a feeling that majority of us feel at one point of time in our lives, no matter of the cause.
Having gone through depression myself due to personal reasons, I hope that any of you that are going through this talk to someone that you trust. You may not have to directly point out the issue but just spend time with those you care about.
That being said, is how I got through my depression. At one point in time I was depressed and I started to look for things to get me distracted from my problems and I found this game. The people around me that always treated me well and with respect has helped me through what I consider the lowest point of my life up till now.
I didn't have to tell them my problems but just spend time talking about random things that make us happy. There is always a solution to a problem that's waiting out there for you to find.
What I'm trying to say is that, you're not alone. We all go through tough times and it's up to you to step up and overcome your problems.

Remember that there are always people out there who support you, care for you and love you ?

  2. ....tough times....
three years now iv had depression.
trying to learn to just cope with it. help thats is on offer is pointless. none of these councillors know how to help. a couple even make it worse.

  3. I love food

  4. true having someone to talk things out with do help, having a hobby also help alot

  5. When trying to talk to someone stubborn about problems and they tell you to take a hike... Take them literally. Actually take one. The physical activity and air will help you release endorphins. Take up jogging or cycling for same reasons. If your depression is more aggressive/frustrative energy, think about contact sports or more demanding activities like Soccer, basketball, etc. Martial Arts can all be helpful, but you have to be ok with bruises and the occasional broken digit?

  6. I fully agree with physical activity!

  7. I'd say that different people can go through different ways to help them through this time. Some prefer to talk about it, some get new hobbies, some go for a hike  as long as we are willing to go out of that circle and try, it's worth it in the end ️

  8. Try cutting yourself

  9. If only you had high enough stats for me to farm you 

  10. Don't feed the troll^^- let him starve.

This is actually a useful thread for young people who are playing here, given the prevalence of depression and the stigma in general surrounding mental illness. Props to OP and all of you others for opening up: I wish you all the best and hope that others will be inspired to open up and ask for help when they need it.

  11. Also when it comes to depression and your taking anti-depressants like prozac (my current one) and others like citalopram you need to keep two things in mind

    1. It has a delayed actions to your mind.. three weeks minimum. So just bare with it think of it as a step forward (thats stuck in quicksand)

    2. Anti-depressants dont work if you dont do something. . You need to change your lifestyle and the drugs will help support you and work for you. If you just spend your time inside playing on the console or pc.. nothings change and neither will your mind or perspective

  12. Cutting yourself should never be an option 

  13. Inappropriate for a game, sorry.

  14. A piece of cake and enjoying it

  15. Don't use me as an example. I am not a pawn to your chess game ^

  16. I suffer from depression due to physical trauma, it's been many years and for some reason I can't let go. But i agree with op, people help me cope with it through the laughter and the jokes and stuff. It takes your mind out of the rut of the thoughts, and gives you that shred of hope. It's one of the things that actually help me.

Physical activity is also good, and writing; about anything. I chose stories.

This is a great thread, and I applaud you op. :D

  17. ily ur my hero

  18. Some people need to realize depression isn't a joke... Js.

And this is a community/social game. You are saying it's appropriate for clubs to be full of, what I would assume, kids playing house right down to "mommy/daddy time" in pm, but inappropriate for someone to open discussion on a serious topic that I see many people with, quite dark, status that reveal their suffering from this disorder.

Op, I hope people who find this thread, and need it, uses it to their full advantage... Ignoring the trolls.

  19. Yes, it may seem inappropriate, however I made this thread to help and give light and opinion to those who want them ️

There are always people who disagree, take it in a wrong way and are mean. But I appreciate your comment ️
