Dear ATA When you press on the account button, a window pops up. It says connect to ATA and you will be protected from hackers and scammers. If that's so how come people get scammed on the regularand how come your apps STILL get hacked. Please explain... In trap queen style

I believe it was put in place to stop people using UDID's to log in "I can get you 2b and unlimited ECs, just give me Your UDID" sorta thing
Just to clarify, by linking with an ATA ID or Facebook you're adding an additional level of verification on your account. Not only does this help with accessing your account on new devices (should you lose, break, or replace your existing one), it also helps support to verify account ownership should any dispute or discrepancy occur over account ownership. While it won't protect you against in-game scams (keep in mind trades are at your own risk and not officially supported as we have no way to verify trade agreements), it does prevent you against phishers and scammers out to get your account information. Additionally, Party In My Dorm as a service is entirely secure. Every single bit of data passes through our servers, and the client (your phone) is never trusted on it's own. The few instances where someone has their account taken over by another player all end up involving the owner somehow giving the player their information, either by sharing or social engineering. Remember, use a strong password and NEVER share it with anyone.
