Customisable Avatar Stats

  1. listen, i know nearly every hunt, 98% of t10/0 has never touched the battle button in their life, but pls think of us who do and hear meowt

i only use str avs because i farm on f, but half time i love the look of a top 10 av, it's intel :(

this t10 sorceress av for example; id be fully prepared to spend a ton for that gorgeous asf av...if it were strength. but it's not, so it's useless to me; therefore, i wont be spending on the hunt at all. im sure im not the only one who opts out of lb based on av stats

i feel like a reasonable solution is to make t10/100 av stats customisable. or, say, only vip versions of avs are customisable. something that means i can go for t10 when i adore the av, regardless of the str/int stat balance, basically

ie. when a customisable av is rewarded, players are shown the total % they can distribute:

... and have to choose the % distribution before they can equip it:

... with a triple confirmation that it's permanent so people can't complain that they "accidentally chose the wrong stats"

it would be extremely helpful for players even though it's not a major change to implement,
would show that you still care about those of us that are pvp-oriented,
it'll almost definitely contribute to revenue,
and since avs change every hunt, there's no obligation for it to be permanent if there turn out to be drawbacks, meaning there won't be a huge community outrage to deal with if you retract it like with other changes cough superpros cough

i know "do this with avatars" threads r annoying i dont want tradable avs okay but for real come on, humour me. ily.

  2. No support.

  3. Support, sounds kinda damn good

  4. Why permanent though
What if one day you wanna out your dancing shoes on, so you wanna change back?
It’s be better if we could customise all of them before equipping each time
    Buuuut
I think the whole point is to keep getting new ones I guess? Cause if you had one you liked you might not want to get others so
Idk, there’s still the items which come along with the reward

  5. If ata wanted it, they would have made that available long ago. No point in asking tbh.

  6. Nah, she kinda makes a point. Sacrificing intel for strength and vice versa is part of the game. Unless you’re an equal stat nub.

  7. No support
    I don't like hidden stats :(

  8. I wish we could at least discard or recycle the Ava’s we don’t like.

  9. Recycle avas? ?

  10. We recycle furniture why can’t we do it with Ava. Save up the material to update their stats

I just wanna get rid of all the ugly low stat ones

  11. support

  12. That would make it very hard to judge someone's percentage bonus i.e. whether their avatar is intel or str, for pvp.

  13. Yep

  14. Support for the presentation of the idea. I would be interested in seeing how a game you helped develop would turn out. No support for customizable stats. My reason being, as usual... why stop there? If were going to customize stats, then why not hair style? Clothing? Height? Weight? Etc...

The avis have positive and negative qualities as it stands and the stats vs beauty aspect is one of the few dilemmas that makes things more interesting to me. I disagree with bringing the pvp student vs party fairy student into this suggestion at all. I don’t think that point has any real value in this case, and the idea of customizable avis has already been presented so... I can’t quite get all the way behind it as it is right now.

Keep coming with the ideas though. Don’t give up. They are getting better each time and I’m happy to see a little more of the positive contributions to the game community. Good job.

  15. I'd support this only if it would be possible to see someone's avatar stats. Perhaps via eavesdropping.

  16.
  17. Now this is what we call balancing things, not just giving your ideas without thinking about how the game would be affected.

    Support

  18. That's a really good idea tbh
