Curse Of Immortality ~•°•Prologue•°•~ Once I was a little girl. A cheeky one I was, running through the park causing trouble wherever I go. I took things for granted, I never saw the beauty of the world. My father who was a Librarian ,me of course thought such a job was boring. But one day my father came home with nothing but a brown leather book. The front cover of this old and antique like book had a title on the front. Written in a gold color, fancy and big letters put together to make a title: The Immortal Book. My dad would spend everyday and night reading each word on each page of the Immortal Book. Soon I began to see differences in my father's behavior. Usually when I nagged him for something. He would go straight to the shops and get it for me.. But this time he snapped at me.. "Can' t you see I'm busy?!" He yelled as he went back to his old book. I didn't know better, I sat on the floor a threw tantrums. "You little witch! Get out of my workplace!" He would shout to me. Calling me a witch, telling me such nasty things. I ran to my room and buried my little face into my pillow.. He had never called me such a nasty name.. My mother, my father and I went to the shops. My father had run across the road and had been hit by a massive truck. Immediately the Truck driver got off the truck and ran straight to my father. "Oh lord, this is going out of my pay cheque for sure! Excuse me? Are you alright?" The truck driver shook my father in worry. My mother threw herself over my father with tears swelling up in her eyes. "Of course his not alright! You foul man, get away from my husband!" She said crying as she pushed the man away and held my father in her arms. All I could do was watch and stand there in horror. *What's happening.. Father, are you dead?..* I thought shaking my head. As I heard a voice, very familiar coming from my father's body. "Get off me woman!" He had somehow survived the horrific accident. No scratches, no cuts and no wounds. I couldn't believe my eyes. But then again, there it was. My father who had been hit by a truck has survived such a crash. My father had been worse since the crash, he didn't eat for days just reading that book not touching his food at all. He didn't look any different but he sounded and acted different. I HAD to get my hands on that book. °•°~To Be Continued~°•°
