CURFEW?

  1. Hello everyone well I'm new to this forum thing...

But I have a question for you guys since this game is a mix of everybody. Do you'll think it's right for parents to implement a 12o'clock curfew on a 20 year old college student? Also is it fair for the parents to take away a car she puts all her money into even though they bought it?  Let me give you a little bit more information on this situation. She works and pays for the things she needs(car). I'm not saying for her to go buck wild and crazy and stay out until 8am or never come home, but I feel she should not have a curfew at this age. Trust me I know first hand how parents feel I myself am mother but I think its asinine to have a curfew on a 20 year old college student and the only reason she is still at home is because of college! What is you'll take on this situation????

  2. seriously?  This whole topic just needs help. -.-;

  3. How does the hole topic needs help? It was something that was brought up and brought it to PIMD

  4. the last sentence made no sense, did you mean: It was something that was brought up and I brought it to PimD?

  5. It was something that was brought up and I brought it to PIMD?

  6. I don't get it. that was painful reading that -.-

  7. Are you Asian especially Chinese? ( No racist) Because those people usually are overprotective as parrnts; it's in their blood and culture. If you're American, usually they're independent, so it's weird.

  8. If you dnt have a comment on what my topic is get off my forum. Is that easy 1 2 3

  9. And no she is not asian... Ps I not talking about myself! But yeah I agree with you

  10. Question: she's a mother? Did I read that wrong? If she is then yeah they can since they're babysitting. If not then no, she's an adult and they have no reason to mess in her life. Encourage her to give some idea (eg ill be home) but not like they're doing. They're treating her like she's 15

  11. if you're living in someone else's house you are expected to follow their rules regardless of your relation to them… family, friends, whatevs.

if you don't like the rules, it's a good sign that it's time to move out. if you're there bcuz of financial issues, then toughen up and remember it's only for momentary.

  12. I said I understand the parents because I myself am a mother me not her!! But yes I agree she is 20 they need to relax.

  13. -for
    in the last sentence 

  14. It would be best if you would say this is a hypothetical situation.

  15. Its not hypothetical its a real situation!!

  16. Hypothetically. you can get silenced, you mentioned an age, who, in a certain context, is yourself.

  17. Omg hush. You people who just come on peoples' forum just to bash them or make irrelevant comments is starting to get old.

  18. I agree with Parcae. Their home, their rules. As someone who had to live at home while attending University, I suffered through the restrictions set by my parents until I had saved enough to move out. Looking back on it now it made a lot of sense; they fed me, I practically lived there for free and all they asked for was that I set an example for my siblings by following the rules of their house which included coming home at a decent hour. Hmm, I suppose it depends on how you're raised :/

  19. Oh. Sorry. Then yeah that sucks. Parents are overprotective. May be worth sitting down with them and asking why?
